I have been doing some reserach on the Shangri-La Hotels Barr Al-Jissah Resort and Spa. The cheapest room rate is 151 rials, which at a fixed exchange rate of .365 rials = 1 U.S. Dollar means that such a room costs $414 a night. I bet Michael McKay puts remaining teams in tents for the pitstop. Amenities  there include spa, swimming pool, business centre, fitness centre, golf and tennis as well as some award-winning restaurants

"Oman is studying a plan to establish a railway in all areas of the country to connect them economically and commercially." This implies that there is no railway now. However, that is not quite true. There is one at the Al Hota Cave, but it does not match the screenshots.

I thought perhaps there would be a subway. Indeed, there are several Subways in Muscat, but they only serve food.
