ryaniiez, those maps are there to fake out listeners who don't know any better. You assume that they are places where the Amazing Race Asia have gone, but half of them are not in that category so they could be places where you can expect ARA to go in the future.

There should be no problem flying out of Pune airport. On a typical weekday there are 8 nonstop flights to Delhi, 3 nonstop flights to Mumbai, and 3 nonstop flights to Bangalore. Either Delhi or Mumbai would be good for overseas flights.

There is a code-share flight non-stop from Cochin to Dubai AI6531 daily except Monday and Tuesday 0900 1230. But since teams are going to be over 700 miles from Cochin that would not be a good choice. Some have pointed out that it is around 2 hours by road from Pune to Mumbai airport, but traditionally Amazing Racers have not been permitted to use other than air transportation from their "local" airport in an ARA or Amazing Race leg. When we get a better idea of where the following leg is, I will issue the corresponding flight information(which few would want to read sooner given the complexity of choices remaining).

AH!Oman IS a asian city! So maybe its Leg10 in CT and Finale in Oman?

Peach, what is the source of your information about ARA3 finishing Nov. 23? First of all, that is a Sunday which makes no sense. Second, there is a wikipedia entry which states

contradicting that summary statement for that wikipedia entry that says Nov. 23, 2008 and is probably a grave error.

I believe Nov. 20 is correct as the date of the finale episode. I see no reason at this time why 11 episodes does not mean 11 episodes. I do not expect that there will need to be a 12th epsiode. Although it is barely possible that an 11th episode could end with a TBC that extends the final leg to 12 but counting it as 11B, I think that it a stretch beyond reason.
