--- Quote from: TARAsia Fan on May 03, 2009, 09:30:11 AM ---I'll have to reconsider that Kenyan leg.
Maybe another leg in South America or perhaps to the former Czechoslovakia.

Czech Republic and Slovakia are awesome, but to travel between them in night trains is a little bit dangerous, still it would be nice to see these places in normal TAR
DrRox:
Stalin was a Georgian.
apskip:
Dr. Rox, although Stalin was from Georgia, his focus was the entire Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. The centerpoint of governement for the U.S. S.R. was clearly Moscow, its capital. Just because Volgograd was renamed in Stalin's honor (by Stalin himself in 1925) and was later renamed back to the original name does not mean that he had any special relationship to Volgograd. As best I can tell, he did not other than during the battle of Stalingrad where he as the leader of the Soviet military took a personal interest in Stalingrad's survival.
TARAsia Fan:
It was like George Washington deciding to have his birthday be a national holiday for no reason. Stalin did the same with Stalingrad.
