TAR Wishlist - locations, routes, twists, teams, tasks & dreams!**NO SPOILERS**
RachelLeVega:
Strong opinion - Visited in every season, The United States is still underrated and severely underappreciated :funny:. I'm tired of the regular L.A. County, Miami-Dade, NYC expectations and starting/endpoints. Here's a quick emergency list of untapped southern regions for TAR to visit, organized by int'l airports access in the nation:
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Int'l Airport
(Mountains and Terrain in Georgia and Chattanooga, Tennessee) Stone Mountain, Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield Park, Panola Mountain, Arabia Mountain, Lookout Mountain, Chattahoochee National Forest, Talladega Forest, literally any of this would impress and shock someone only familiar with the flatland of Southern U.S.
Louisville Int'l Airport
Kentucky Bourbon Trail
(Louisville, Kentucky) Louisville Slugger, Churchill Downs, Waverly Hills Sanatorium, Appliance Park
(Lexington, Kentucky "Horse Country") Kentucky Horse Park, Keeneland, independent horse stables, Fort Boonesborough
Nashville Int'l Airport
(Nashville, Tennessee) Music Row!, Marathon Village, The Parthenon (I'm not kidding), Hot chicken, Rabbit Hole VR Arcade, Jack Daniel's in Lynchburg
Jacksonville Int'l Airport
(Between Jacksonville, Florida and Savannah, Georgia) Fernandina Beach, Jekyll Island, Kingsley Plantation, carriage rides in Savannah, restored antebellum buildings, Old Fort Jackson, First Girl Scout Headquarters in USA, Fort Pulaski, Hilton Head Island
(St. Augustine, Florida) Beautiful Spanish colonial sites, Alligator Farm zip line, Pirate & Treasure Museum, extensive beachscape activities, river cruises/water taxis, fishing charters, Gainesville's University of Florida
Austin-Bergstrom Int'l Airport/San Antonio Int'l Airport
(Texas Hill Country) Mount Bonnell, New Braunfels, Canyon Lake, authentic Texas brisket BBQ, independent farms/nurseries/vineyards, Pedernales Falls, Hamilton Pool Preserve, Natural Bridge Caverns, Luckenbach
There's always unique independent places that would love for TAR to visit for promoting their brand (e.g. Gino's East franchise in Chicago in TAR6, Voodoo Doughnuts in Portland, Oregon in TAR13, Graceland Chapel in TAR15) so there's no shortage of adding those places important to the touring and local culture of each city into the mix as well.

I agree, I want somewhere new visited in the US, a city no one expects. As someone who likes the Family Edition, it was so refreshing seeing states like Wyoming, Montana, Alabama, and Mississippi take the spotlight. This is why I want another US only route, to give other states a chance to be featured, that don't have big enough cities to host a final leg. There are so many landmarks in the US the race hasn't been to. It would be so cool to see places like: Seattle Space Needle, Gateway Arch, The Alamo, Beale Street, Spoonbridge and Cherry be visited on the race. I also agree that I'm tired of seeing the same cities over and over again. Los Angeles once in a while is fine, but EVERY season is too much. Also I feel like some final legs don't really show us what the city has to offer.
