If TAR 30 would happen to film this (Northern Hemisphere) summer, the cities would visit: Japan (Osaka/Kyoto) and Australia (Melbourne and Brisbane). No Germany and Switzerland please for being overused in recent seasons. Some Scandinavian/Nordic countries hadn't visited in more than 10+ seasons. Finland (Rovaniemi) and Sweden (Gothenburg) for Northern European leg.

Melbourne and HOBART!!!! We have seen Brisbane before! Japan is overused as well. However, I think they will film in the Northern Hemisphere's winter, just because it seems like the casting calls will go til July.

Wrong. the casting calls will end the final week of June (see applications thread; link). Final selection of casting teams will be selected in early/mid July and the filming will start around mid July and end in August.

Bourkie, Brisbane has not been visited since TAR 4 and never hosted a full leg.

Claude, I'm just saying that I believe there are better places (cities), to visit in Australia, than Brisbane. How about we give Tasmania a visit, which hasn't been visited by ANY TAR before?

I'm sorry if sounded rude but I just believe that there are much better cities in Australia to visit!

With justmjlayson's wishlist route suggestion for season 30 (as the show has recently renewed for that season), here's the revised route with slight changes.

Similar leg wishlist design in my old post: http://forum.realityfanforum.com/index.php/topic,15213.msg1189014.html#msg1189014

START: Pasadena, California, USA
Leg 1: Melbourne, Australia
Leg 2: Brisbane and Gold Coast, Australia
Leg 3: Osaka and Kyoto, Japan
Leg 4: George Town, Penang, Malaysia
Leg 5: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Leg 6: Paarl and Stellenbosch, South Africa
Leg 7: Cape Town, South Africa
Leg 8: Rovaniemi, Lapland, Finland
Leg 9: Gothenburg, Sweden
Leg 10: Madrid, Spain
Leg 11: Dublin, Ireland
Leg 12: San Francisco, California, USA

Australia (18) + Japan (26) + Malaysia (24) + South Africa (7) + Finland (10) + Sweden (25) + Spain (24) + Ireland (12) = Total combination would be 146.

Awesome! I love the legs you made before! but I'd added mine with Myanmar/Laos and Jordan legs as Legs 5 and 6, then Czech Republic as Legs 7 and 8, Leg 9 Rimini, Italy >  San Marino, Madrid, Spain as Leg 10 and penultimate leg or Leg 11 Lisbon and Algarve, Portugal.

I figured that out. I really had to use Melbourne and Tasmania legs right now. Since S26, Japan was visited with Tokyo and Nagano but I'd prefer see Chiba and Kawasaki as they both are interesting. There's another wishlist that I'm going to post.

It's time for my new Season 30 Wishlist Route (with Fiji and Taiwan thrown in due to the casting calls)

Season 30
Leg 1: Melbourne, Australia (2 flights, arriving 30 minutes apart in the morning)
Leg 2: Hobart, Australia (Tasmania, mining task, snow task if filmed in like July, SELF-DRIVING)
Leg 3: Nadi, Fiji (CBS could even hype both Survivor and TAR in Fiji like "Trouble in Paradise" or something like that  :funny: )
Leg 4: Kaohsiung, Taiwan (arrive at night, task at night market, overnight rest
Leg 5: Taipei, Taiwan (Taipei is where the pit stop is, but teams must use the rail system to get to various spots throughout the leg as they make their way up the island)
Leg 6: Bangalore, India (technology based leg)
Leg 7: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan (start in Bishkek, eventually make their way south, eventually a camping pit stop, SELF-DRIVING)
Leg 8: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan (Pit Stop in Bishkek, but make their way through another way back to it, SELF-DRIVING)
Leg 9: Budapest, Hungary (classic European city leg)
Leg 10: Prague, Czech Republic (Pit Stop in Prague, but travel to east Czech Republic by train, rural areas, that awesome Church of the Bones other TARs have gone to in Kutna Hora, SELF-DRIVING)
Leg 11: Alexandria, Egypt (Ancient Seaport City in EGYPT! And unless i'm mistaken, one of the safest easily accessible areas in Egypt)
Leg 12: Philadelphia, USA (City of Brotherly Love! And can easily make the long journey via one stopover in Doha, arriving at the perfect time of 8:40 AM)

5 CONTINENTS, 9 COUNTRIES, 2 NEW COUNTRIES (Fiji, Kyrgyzstan), 3 COUNTRIES ONLY VISITED ONCE BEFORE (Hungary, Czech Republic, Egypt), AND MANY NEW CITIES

Me too! I co-sign this wish.  :hoot:

A first Leg Manila Leg would be great, especially one that gets teams around more of Metro Manila and exposes them to the traffic more than TAR25 did lol
As much as I need Jig or Pig on TARUS, I would then like a 2nd Leg up North. None of the Philippine Legs so far have really had that "cultural" feel to them. Tasks that show off distinctly Filipino culture. I think the Cordillera region would be a great location for some very Filipino tasks. Maybe a good Igorot dance Road Block or something.

Since the Philippine Legs so far (TAR5, TAR25, TARAu, TAR Ukraine) have been mostly tropical or urban Manila Legs), I definitely would prefer rural and cultural Legs if ever TARUS returns to the Philippines.

How about this...
Leg 1 - Similar to TARAu's Leg design. A simple task in Manila (Quiapo balut? lol) before hopping on an overnight bus to any Cordillera province. And a Pig or Jig Detour could definitely be staged with an Igorot dance instead. And make it a Limited Stations Detour to guarantee both Detours are featured. Hehe.
Leg 2 - Ilocos Leg. Either Vigan (Ilocos Sur) or a day-long, TARPH2-style Ilocos Norte-wide Leg (Laoag, Paoay, Bangui Windmills). Highly unlikely in today's TAR where Legs can last just a few hours, but this is a wishlist thread after all.  :D

Since Taiwan and Fiji did some sponsoring, I would make some wishlists for them too... :funny:

TARPHDME did a Taiwan Leg  :funny: :grins:

But they could do something with tea and definitely bubble tea in Taichung. Looking back at the TAR12 and TAR19 Taiwan Legs, they were both kinda meh. So if TAR30 does go to Taiwan because of its sponsorship/incentives, I'd assume maybe 2 Legs with more distinct Taiwanese culture and tasks.

Leg 1 probably be a NEL/KOR with a overnight ferry from Melbourne to Devonport; choose a marked car to drive to Cradle Mountain for a Detour, then Roadblock and Active Route Marker task in Hobart just like TAR 29 Leg 8.

So...here's my TAR30: Cost-Saving Realness edition

START: duh
LEG 1: to Dublin, Ireland
LEG 2: to Bratislava, Slovakia
LEG 3: to Aggtelek National Park, Hungary
LEG 4: to Kathmandu, Nepal
LEG 5: to Taipei, Taiwan
LEG 6: to Nantou Valley, Taiwan (via Taichung)
LEG 7: to Gold Coast, Australia
LEG 8: to Nadi, Fiji
LEG 9: to Savusavu, Fiji
LEG 10: to Santiago, Chile
LEG 11: to Mt. Aconcagua, Argentina (via Mendoza)
LEG 12: to Miami, FL

For the most part there's a bunch of countries with relatively low cost of living or else countries which will probably be sponsoring a part of the race yay. Additionally:
- Australia is there because there's not really a great way to facilitate going from Asia to Fiji and NZ, while probably more impressive, was visited more recently.
- Santiago is a sore spot, yes, but going west to east is the best way to capitalize filming in Fiji and I didn't want to just be like Taiwan-Taiwan-Australia-Fiji-Fiji; that's obvious, no?
- Two instances of driving across country borders  :bunny
- An actual summer leg in Miami  :conf:

I'd like to see Spain next season, it hasn't been visited since S24, and it really deserves a visit. I'm a bit tired of visits to Germany (Seasons 26,22,20,19,16,14,9,6,3) 9 times , France (Seasons 28,27,26,21,16,10,6,4,1) 9 times and Italy (Seasons 29,25,24,20,12,9,4,1) 8 times, over and over again.

Spain was last visited on Season 24, and it's only been visited 3 times (24-Sevilla,21-Mallorca,10-Barcelona). They could really visit Madrid or the north of Spain (Santander, Bilbao or San Sebastian). I'm not counting TAR 3 as there wasn't any task on Spain, they just went to Algeciras to take the ferry to Morocco (although it was Spain where Aaron & Arianne had a problem with their car and the Spanish Police helped them).

Portugal could also be a good choice, last visited on Season 23. And I think it has only been visited 3 times (S3, S23).

Haven't made one of these in a while, but here's mine for Season 31/32 (US TAR)

Basically, the format I used was 4 Legs in Europe, 4 Legs in Asia, and 2 in either Africa or South America. 3 of the 10 legs must be in the same one as the country before it. In total, this race expands across 7 countries (8 if you count the Vatican). Also, I list the cities/areas of where the pit stop is, not where the entire leg takes place at.

Starting Line ~ The Alamo
Leg 1: San Antonio, TX --> Accra, Ghana        (NEL)
Leg 2: Accra, Ghana --> Tema, Ghana        (Self Drive)
Leg 3: Tema, Ghana --> Palma, Spain   (Double U-Turn)
Leg 4: Palma, Spain --> Barcelona, Spain
Leg 5: Barcelona, Spain --> Rome, Italy --> The Vatican     (FF)
Leg 6: The Vatican --> Skopje, Macedonia    (NEL, Self Drive)
Leg 7: Skopje, Macedonia --> Hangzhou, China          (2 Detours, a single U-turn for both, 1 team can NOT be u-turned twice in this leg)
Leg 8: Hangzhou, China
Leg 9: Hangzhou, China --> Davao City, Philippines     (Last NEL)
Leg 10: Davao City, Philippines --> Port Vila, Vanuatu    (Double Road Block)
Leg 11: Port Vila, Vanuatu --> San Diego, CA
Finish Line ~ California Tower at Balboa Park

As always, all feedback is welecomed

After the Ninh Binh Leg, I'd like a similar type of Leg in the Philippines. Maybe in the hottest, literally, city in the country, Tuguegarao, Cagayan. Like seriously. If you take a plane there, the whiplash between the freezing A/C in the plane and the scorching heat once they open the doors and you walk down the stairs is insane! Especially in summer.

I'd love for teams to experience that, maybe after a cold Leg in Russia or something.  lol

He visited five though ???

That said "single U-Turn for both" Detours doesn't really work to me; if everyone chooses the same detour to start (or if only one person chooses side A vs side B) then it renders it pointless. You would have to force each task to be limited station which seems like a cop out.
