TAR Wishlist - locations, routes, twists, teams, tasks & dreams!**NO SPOILERS**
Zack.:
And to go along with that winter-favored route posted earlier, a summery one <3
START: Gateway Arch, St. Louis, MO
Leg 1: to Calgary, Canada to Banff National Park, Canada
(Seriously, people have been complaining about Canada not having a "real" Pit Stop since TAR 9. Adventure sports, orienteering, possibly a rappel, y'know, basic leg 1 stuff)
Leg 2: to Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada
(So I WAS going to simply put in a Vancouver leg because that's what most people do but screw it, it's my fantasy race. Language tasks, dog race training, mining, y'know, basic leg 2 stuff)
Leg 3: to Chengdu, China
(blahblah China but Chengdu is fun and awesome and spicy and there HAS to be a forced game of baijiu roulette at some point in our edition of TAR)
Leg 4: to (+++) to Kratie, Cambodia
(the leg itself will be entirely in Kratie (your standard 'simple way of living in SE Asia leg') but the fun part of the leg is that teams aren't told how to get to Kratie - either through Phnom Penh or through Siem Reap. NEL because why punish people on a strategy-driven leg?)
Leg 5: to Bangkok, Thailand to Pattaya, Thailand
(...when we can punish them here :snicker: Imagine the F4 elim of TAR 15 with the language difficulties and crazy mental tasks and alcohol and drunken locals, then imagine it with twice as many teams and with a Switchback to the Reclining Buddha FF (now a regular task)<3 )
Leg 6: to Doha, Qatar
(I mean if everyone here posts it enough, maybe WRP will actually host a leg here :funny:)
Leg 7: to Bari, Italy to Matera, Italy
(whatever on the leg as long as the Pit Stop is here)
Leg 8: to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
(when is the last time we've had a good urban African leg?)
Leg 9: to Bahir Dar, Ethiopia to Gondar, Ethiopia
(coffee, goats, Amharic lessons, castles, and an NEL? why not)
Leg 10: to Toulouse, France to Andorra to Zaragoza, Spain
(rockets, product placed vehicles, and killer fatigue make for a grueling leg <3)
Leg 11: to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic
(TIL: Santo Domingo is the largest city by population in the Caribbean. Imagine a less horrid version of the Panama leg in 19 with presumably a less awesome result)
FINISH: National Italian American Sports Hall of Fame Rooftop Terrace, Chicago, IL
(in 23/4 seasons I don't understand why the insanely spoilerphobic WRP hasn't yet decided to rent a roof out to host the final Pit Stop)
(also food-related memory challenge <3)
SamualDude:
After seeing what Top Gear did in Burma, I'd love for the Race to go there! Also for the Race to visit the River Kok in Thailand xD

I hope Race come back to Thailand, my country, again. And make up with some good legs. The last one on TAR14 and 19 aren't really impressive. Especially the Bangkok II in TAR19. (:;)
The area they went is pretty redundant. They rarely touch the north amd northeast part of Thailand which had a lot of cultural things and specific traditions, but instead, THEY ALWAYS go to Phuket and Bangkok and those stuff. Which is really boring since it almost look the same every time.
Also, Had they ever done the Songkran things in the Race. It would be really cool to add a task with this water festival. Like seaching the clue in Holi festival in TAR13. This would be really fun to watch and can drive some teams to break down for sure.

Good route, but 3 legs in the UK is a bit much. Similarly, the first 4 legs of the race are in an English- speaking country, Swaziland and Sri Lanka have decent English-speaking populations, and Australia and USA speak English, so there aren't too many possibilities for a Language Barrier, which is disappointing.
