You could do Alice Springs and Ayers Rock/Uluru in one leg and the 2nd leg in Australia could be a city leg (Canberra or Melbourne) but other then that its a good route.

Yeah, Uluru and Alice Springs really won't yield you much if you're spreading them over two legs.
