Ethan Knew Time Was Short....

Yeah, I think it was good that Lex told Ethan he was next to go.  I think Ethan would have been even more pissed off if he didn't know.  Anyways, either way Ethan would have been mad.  But I think he was most mad that he was going instead of annoying Jerri. But I am sure Jerri is next to go.  They keep saying how lazy she is, blah blah blah.

STEVE:
Glad to see Ethan go and I think Lex is a class act by being upfront and honest with him.  Lex should have beaten him the first time around.  Ethan comes off as this nice guy but whenever they interview him privately the true "sneak" in him comes out.  One other thing I`ve noticed about Ethan is that for someone who`s supposed to be a professional soccer player, he`s one piss poor athlete.  The older, fatter likes of Tom and Rupert kick his ass regularly.

Rob:
I think with Ethan is, if he is not winning all the time, he gives up! Rupert or Tom are never used to quitting, so they simply don't quit. But I think Rupert is such a strong guy, and wants to win so badly, he would kick anyones ass at anything.

However, Lex, I don't agree with what he did. Yes, he was upfront and honest, but he was also being sneaky and dishonest at the same time. He was trying to have the best of both things, and I think it will bite him in the butt sometime soon. Maybe not too, this game is freaky that way.

Lex mentioned that he and Ethan were friends outside of "Survivor" and that's why he wanted to be honest with him about the boot.  I have to admire Lex's honesty, but I do feel that it will probably be his undoing.  You have to be mercenary in this game.
