Just because you know the definition of what stock photography means doesnt mean you should ultimately consider it will be used in a dregrading manner against you.  Again, stock photographs are a very commen type of shoot in modeling...What is unfortunate, which is what happened in the case with Mike, is he was simply led on to believe it was stock photos with the theme being feet.  At times the body may be in the picture, but out of focus, with the detail concentrating on the feet.  There should have been no reason to ever believe this type of imagery would then be sold to some perverted website.  There are plenty of uses for companies to need images of feet in various positions and also for artists use.    This is a cold hard case of being taken advantage of!  Images of anyone could be turned around on them and make it look to be something it wasnt...think about it...what if a model was contacted for stock images of hands, and then those images get put up on some site called "barehandguys"....WOW suddenly it looks as if this model was hired by the site to pose for them when in fact its all a bunch of bogus ****.  People are ruthless in the modeling industry and dont give a **** about who they hurt or destroy along the way as long as its making them money and getting them ahead in the world.  Another thing that is unfortunate are these forums which completely misconstrue things and thats how rumors begin...they aide in helping destroy the persons image, work, and life.  If thats what makes people feel like a good person and accomplished each day, then go ahead and do so.  But I would hope we could all have an open mind, which I know is impossible, and realize there are two sides to every story...people just tend to believe what they think is corupt because its more interesting...I thought people (especially those into reality tv) would have realized by now most of everything you see is FAKE!  Turned around, edited, and misconstrued concepts, conversations, and actions.  So why do others tend to believe so much in what they see on the internet on some post?  I have no idea...and it leads me to believe these are the ones who need to be educated more, rather than Mike about a photoshoot, before adding their comments and opinons to something they have little to no knowledge about.  If you believe everything you see on TV, the news, in magazines and the internet..you're living in a fantasy land.   You contribute to problems and create them.  You're inadequate knowledge on subjects that do not relate to you can stop progression for others.  So I would urge anyone who wants to throw their two cents in, that they ask themselves...do i know facts, what is the source, will my actions possibly destroy the good of others, do I feel good about possibly hurting others, does talking about this issue and realzing the fact your reading this mean you have too much time on your hands which you should be doing something more productive with???  I'm not here to bash anyone for their opinions, maybe just try and help open up eyes a little.  And no, I dont ever visit or post on these forums...but heard about this nonesense and it needed to be straigtened out.

I totally agree with you rlj. I was a photographer for a bit before I had my first kid and we had to do closeups on things like feet, etc. And why not, the guy gets pedicures for a reason  If Mike really did this for this purpose, the way I see it - it puts food on the table :lol3:

Everyone is invited to post here rlj and we're glad to read your opinions and defense of Mike. He was a good guy and left way too soon last season. Do you know him personally?

ETA: BTW, I am properly chastised!

Thank you rlj508 for your information, and welcome to RFF.

Those of us involved in reality TV do understand the role of editing for sure, and how things can be edited to portray almost anything.

We also understand that sometimes reality TV stars make poor choices in what gigs they choose to accept.

I am definitely not going anywhere near that site to see what the fuss is but....

Are you saying that you have definitive information that Mike was clearly misled in this case? And did not choose to actively participate in this?

If so, we would be delighted to hear that, and to then help clarify any misunderstanding.

I can't imagine anything worse than to find yourself unknowingly involved in a porn site of any sort and understand your need to set the matter straight if that is the case.

There always are more sides to any story along with difference of opinions.

My point being is that it was Mike’s choice to be on reality tv namely Big Brother for whatever reasons he has.

He also has chosen to purse his career in modeling both are huge flags to an industry that is well known for it’s ruthlessness.

So I am not surprised that he has found himself in an unfortunate circumstance.

However it will remain Mikes choice to continue in this path if he finds it acceptable.

Otherwise  I wouldn’t bother complaining about it.

The nonsense will always be there for him if he chooses to be a part of it.

I for one believe he is more than a pretty face muscular body and poor choices.

So it does fall back to him.

He really should be considering what he plans to do from here on out.
