I was watching Ryan tell her about his grandfather. I thought he really and truly wanted to tell her, as he said, she is older and a mother and the people in the house are heartless. He said he didn't want to tell anyone else and have them think he was playing for sympathy. I can't say what is in anyone's head but for that moment anyway, I believe he was telling her because he felt bad, he thought maybe he should leave and wanted someone to say it was OK to stay and play.
For me, it was a humanizing moment for Ryan and Sheila. So far as I know she hasn't told anyone about his grandfather.

i agree TL. it was ryan talking with someone he could relate to [shelia] and yes you are right! it was a humanizing moment, shelia hasnt told anyone, i think maybe ryan said something to josh? i dont know but i thought josh talked with ryan about his grandpa passing, but like i said i am not sure on the josh thing! [knowning about ryan's grandpa]

i knew this would happen chelisa is trying to stay, she is talking to Nat, someone said they didnt think chelisa would try and stay, but it is just thier nature to want to stay, which means by chelisa doing this she is going agaisnt sharon (:;) i cant blame chelisa, they all want to stay, i just knew chelisa would not just give up and walk out! now Nat is going to go tell sharon about this, and sharon is going to get alilttle freaked out! there is no way [i think] chelisa could get the votes to stay! these people would be crazy to keep chelisa over sharon!
