James trying to explain to Adam what went down with the voting last week that Matty has a deal with Ali and thats why he wants her to stay that James wanted A/R gone trying to hint to Adam what Matt is up to.

I think James is telling Adam in a round about way that hes voting for him to stay? And hes just playing it off that he is trying to get Matt excited about Allison staying. Who knows.
