Medical Emergency Last Night

(1/2) > >>

Rob:
How scary was that last night? I thought it made for good TV, and all, but I am wondering how long both Amanda and Ali were out of the house???

That has never happened before in Big Brother, and it was pretty interesting that they even handled it. What did Ali have an allergic reaction to? Sheila?? lol

Anyway, so many questions, hopefully someone can help!

the slop

Amanda was hypoglycemic and fainted and received emergency oral glucose from the on duty nurse. She had to have a CT scan at the hospital because of concern that she may have hit her head when she fell.

Alli had a severe allergic reaction to possibly slop--she received an Epi pen injection from the BB nurse and then steroids, aerosols, more Epi, and Benadryl at the hospital. She is to have a full allergy skin panel test next week.

From overheard HG comments we know that they were whizzed in and out of the hospital and that there were loads of paparrazzi there. Amannda was back in about three and a half hours.

What is really interesting, we only saw the diary room door opening and closing and it blocked the nurse coming into the hallway. The live feeders had no idea, we thought they took her into the DR.

The other thing we didn't see but heard about was James, he held her, comforted her and calmed her down. On the feeds later he was really upset about having to hold her while she was in such distress. He stepped up and was stellar.

Props to Ryan and Nat. Thumbs down to Josh who took credit for saving her and as far as can be seen did absolutely nothing.

MamaTo4boys:
Josh is the one that hit the panic button which called the cops. Thats what everyone gave him props for. They hadn't called the squad for Allison because the nurse hadn't checked her tongue, she even said as soon as the epi pin went in she started breathing right away but later they were worried about her tongue not going down which is why they decided to transport her.
