Oliver:

We have 3 more legs left. If there is a TBC or NEL ending leg 9(the next one) in Osaka, then teams will do leg 10 in Taipei. When there is a pitstop there, as there has to be to make the 8th elimination and get AR12 down to the Final 3 Teams, all will be well. On the 11th leg, only 3 teams will advance to Alaska.

serendipity:
There was a very big festival (天神祭) in Osaka from 23 July to 25 July 2007, would there be any tasks related to this event?

In the preview showing Nathan and Jennifer in HK airport, they were actually standing in front of an internet kiosk which can be found after checking in and clearing custom.

Did we find the nearest train station?

Did anyone post the taxi service in Osaka? sorry in advance if I missed it.

Osaka taxi

1. Toho Taxi Co., Ltd. 66592523
2. Osaka Kojin Taxi Rengokai 67711437
3. Inoyama Taxi Co., Ltd. 63282510
4. Chidori Taxi Co., Ltd. 66612181
5. Aozora Kotsu 67938180

In the central areas of the city, you will never have any trouble finding a taxi. They line the main street, Midosuji, 24-hours a day, waiting for passengers. In fact, the Osaka Municipal Transport Bureau concedes that Osaka has 30,000 more taxis than required. Now that`s a lot of vehicles. Bear in mind the fare - expect about 2000 yen for a ten minute trip.
It is easy to find a taxi in Osaka. In fact, there is a long queau of taxi in front of the JR Station opposite Hilton Hotel and Hanshin Department Store. If you are in the downtown area like Umeda Skyline, you will have no problem taking a taxi.
Taxi drivers, can be very crazy in japan. The streets are much smaller than the US and they do drive fast! Oh and don't try to stiff your driver. they'll prevent you grom getting out of the vehicle (The doors have no indoor handles)

Imagine you are in Osaka and hail a cab.  Now you find out you are part of an American Reality TV show :wohoo:.  I hope you are not in a hurry. :keeta:

The TAR producers must control those who hail a cab because each team needs to go to a similar location.

Happy New Year to all.

serendipity, there might be. However, the first team arrival in Osaka is scheduled for 6pm , the rest for 7pm on the 25th so most of the Festival you mention would be over by then.
