American Idol' has catapulted a smattering of America's stars into the limelight. The most recent 'AI' winner, David Cook, is next with the premiere of the first single, 'Light On,' off of his unnamed album. The tune was produced by Grammy-winning producer Rob Cavallo (Green Day, Kid Rock) and is scheduled for iTunes release on Sept. 30. Meanwhile, Cook's as-yet-untitled debut album will be released on Nov. 18. Listen to 'Light On' below.

I've been told it's due to Dial Up b/c it is so much slower than DSL.
I'll try to catch the song on the radio.
