Well if the "permanent" change from next episode is a FF then that can't be a FF either!

I think I have found the route taken to Dub by the front teams.
LO0774 6.25 6.50 VNO WAW
LO0223 7.55 9.15 WAW VIE
OS7059 10.10 11.20 VIE DBV
If TK and Rachel missed the connection in Vienna the next flight would be
OS731 13.15 14.40 VIE DBV
you know those crazy hippies.
This is all dependent on them getting out of the pitstop in time to get a 6.25 flight.

patlini, good research work here, but my work on Nov. 29 -Dec. 1 (between Caribbean and hospital) had discovered that OS 7059 did not exist on July 19. If it did, that is the only way I see that teams could get to Dubrovnik before noon starting from VNO that morning. My sources are not always correct, although they are most of the time. You are extrapolating from July 17, 2008, when it clearly will exist. We'll have to wait for the show to see. Visit the Timelines thread for an analysis of this very subject, I forget the post # but date was probably Nov. 30 or Dec. 1.

I want to go back to the nighttime shot of Ron and Christina. If in competition(as it certainly appears), it can only occur if the Vilnius pitstop is 24 hours. I am guessing teams would be released sometime between 6pm and 9pm on July 18. We now have a viable explanation for team separation. Now, to get anywhere that will help them that evening, there are only two options:
July 18 BT165 VNO CPH 1820 1855 SK659 CPH MUC 1935 2110 overnight at MUC airport, then July 19 OU5437 MUC ZAG 0735 0840 OU660 ZAG DBV 0930 1025
July 18 BT165 VNO CPH 1820 1855 OS306 CPH VIE 2005 2150 overnight at VIE airport, then July 19 OU5443 VIE ZAG 0700 0800 OU660 ZAG DBV 0930 1025
There is a third through Helsinki to Munich, then following the same slights MUC to ZAG to DBV shown above, but it provides no different results..
Teams had to be released from the pitstop in time to get to the airport, book the flight, and get on it. If they checked in to the pitstop by 530pm this might be possible. It could explain how certain teams got ahead and the others were stuck. Those other teams could try Prague, Warsaw, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Paris, London, Vienna, Milan, Rome or Helsinki, but they will not succeed and could indeed be subject to the fate that Uchenna and Joyce received of elimination by inability to make a make a connection due to cirsumstances mostly beyond their control.
