If the Pitstop is the top of Mt Srdj--then they are not there for that confessional IMO because they are more at lake level and not looking way down on the lake as they would from Srdj.
The Lake district in Italy is world famous.

A pitstop makes sense for flights to Florence without the front teams getting horribly ahead.
With a 12 hour pitstop they would all get out of Dubrovnik in time for those early am flights. Not sure if Florence could be a "keep racing" I will need to check flights onto India. As I recall most of the better connections where around noonish.

I'd bank it be Srdj Dubrovnik. The stones the mountains, the water etc. Same clothes even :cmas27

The lakes actually make a lot of sense--while certainly crowded in the summer it is nothing like Florence--there is more room to spread out and the teams might have a better chance of not being seen.
Plus it is absolutely gorgeous! We can find this!
