EP4: "Let's Name Our Chicken Phil"

U-turn: the chicken task; it's an extra task; when they're done, come back and do the detour
Roadblock: the bicycle task; Jenn is solo; it's her turn to do it; they alternate every leg
Detour: American Idol or Gold Digging

I'm liking banzai's idea the best. I can't see why whathisface would be able to help gramps with the Roadblock so it very well could be the other detour option.

I think the shot of TK and Jennifer is at the roadblock because why would they just be standing there?

I say we search Bobo, Bingo whatever for Gold nuggets!!

Evidence: plane with G-B flag
please look for this evidence :)

qing_her, I might normally say that the idea of Guinea-Bissau is preposterous. However, given a Sunday flight connection in Dakar, it's not. Teams could go OUA DKR on 2J (Air Burkina) 338 1345 1740 and connect to V7 350 DKR OXB (Bissau) 1830 1930
It could have happened. However, that means that teams finished up whatever tasks they did in Burkina Faso by late morning on Sunday and before going to Guinea-Bissau. Also, the flights out to Europe require departure from Bissau to Dakar at 1345 on July 16 to catch AF731 (the one from OUA) at 2350 arriving CDG at 0610 on the 17th. It can't be a day later or the first teams can't get through Florence and on their way to Dubrovnik in time to arrive when we know they do. If teams arrive inot Bissau at 1930, they would be doing all tasks in the dark and then having a pitstop by midnight to make that flight(unless it was a TBC). If Bissau is a TBC, then after waiting around in Burkina Faso for such a long time, it would be one screwed up leg, later finishing in Florence. So, my conclusion is that it is highly unlikely that it did happen.
EDITOR'S NOTE - this last paragraph has been substantially revised with the benefit of more after sleeping on it and later revised again.

Thanks--your pics aren't so big fuzzy blooby as mine!
Gold mining in BF is a very hot topic right now. I have been reading the Google Alerts on that for weeks and there is lots to know. Basically, they have just opened up a mine (but I think it is northern BF?) and have high hopes that this will improve the country's economic future significantly.
This is a nice blog about the impact of the gold mining. I think the newest mine has just opened. (open pit mine I think).
