The last time AR had three episodes in a row that scored over 11 million viewers was season 7.
The average so far this season is 11.82. Last season at this episode was 10.85. Nearly a million more viewers.
Its so nice that in CBS wisdom they didn't greenlight 2 cycles and shortened the season. Dumbasses.

blame the stupid one nina tessler for that
TARAsia Fan:
The same Nina Tessler who canceled Jericho and didn't realize how loyal the show's fanbase was. NUTS!
And the same Nina Tessler who's now scrambling for programming and had to greenlight at TAR13 thanks to the Writers Strike. Had she done it earlier, TAR13 might even be finished and be ready for airing in February.
mswood:
I can actually understand the choice to cancel Jericho. On a business level.
It was an expensive show (with a large cast). And it lost a large number of its viewers. Drifting from 12 to 7 million during its first season. Almost any show that does that will not get renewed.
I liked Jericho, but it was bleeding viewers, and really didn't fit that well with the rest of CBS lineup.
I actually hope it does well in its new miniseries style run (I actually think several shows would perform better in that format). Since the show really took a hit whenever they had to break for reruns.
But unfortunately the US business model for shows not suited for short runs. Shows are so expensive they almost always lose money on original broadcast. Its reruns, DVD sales, and off network syndication where shows finally really earn profit.
TARAsia Fan:
It bled viewers because CBS put it up against American Idol. Never a good move. But it's coming back so it's all water under the bridge.
