Yes, ratings are gradually on the up, last Sunday had TAR's highest average to date. BUT looking ahead to the finale on Sunday, Jan 20 doom looms. Fox will have the NFC championship game on against TAR. Last year, the NFC championship game was the third highest rated show of all shows during all of 2007, with an average audience four times that of the best TAR has ever done. So look for a low number for the final Sunday. TVGuide doesn't even promote the finale, just "leg 11" So what do they know?
But hopefully CBS knows that TAR is up against a juggernaut on the 20th and will still go ahead with TAR13.

last year was the bears-saints game on fox. chicago and new orlans 2 great stories. this year hopefully will be seattle and the gAInts, 2 crappy teams,. tar will be fine for the finale

Kogs, I certainly hope that it will be Seahawks vs. Giants. However, Green Bay vs. Dallas is much more likely and that will be of interest to most NFL fans, way more so than Chicago vs. New Orleans last year. If I were CBS I would have taken a week off and gone to Jan. 27 for the finale, but I seem to remember that there is something else already in that time slot.

It is what it is. You can't change things now. Just plow ahead and hope the TiVO ratings will be high for TAR (yes, the networks have TiVO ratings, too).
