No one has ever gotton a penalty nom as far as I know. A penalty Nom means that you are automatically nominated the following week, also heard that BB can mess with your stipend.

I didn't mean it as a "they weren't backdoored" in the way that they WERE backdoored. Im saying it was totally differnet then what happened with Jen, because the one person that needed to be in POV wasn't. Thats the way the cards played out and its no big deal but you can't tell me that Nick didn't see ANYTHING coming when Daniele went up to him and said "you need to fight for HOH". Hello, that screams "your on the radar". And Mike well honestly I think he wanted to leave. I do also think that Mike would have been safe had he not did what he did Dick wanted Kail or Jen out imo.

And Dustin to me IS another story, backdoored or not. He should've known never to 'offer' himself up as a pawn.

I agree with you about Mike, no question about that, but the comment by Dani to Nick I just never knew about and if you look at it without the comment as I knew it he really was backdoored, they initially did not even think about getting him out until someone (I don't know who the original person was who brought him up so I won't speculate) mentioned him.

Also based on seeing everyone on SHOWTIME the houseguests are calling Jen a baby and are acting different towards her, except Jameka, even when Dick is not present.

i think this is the first time an HOH (dani) has used the power of veto to CHANGE their vote...you can say it's strategic...but it's also cowerdly when you think about it.  hell...everyone in hoh can now start to do this.  jen didn't even have a chance to fight for herself...she better start talking to people right away.

seems like a dirty low down way to play...just my thoughts...

I actually don't think that it is cowardly based on the fact that Dani originally wanted Jen out two weeks ago when she was HOH but that didn't happen because Jen got the POV and obviously used it on herself.  Jen has always been Jen's target and that is why she backdoored her this week, because of her POV record.  Everytime Jen was up on the block she was taken down by winning the POV or having someone else use it on her.

it's like dani put jameka & amber up & then put jen up...she is the hoh...the fair way would have been to put jen up & give her a fighting chance...this was not the usual way of doing things...i think that is why bb tried to talk dani out of it, besides jen being good for ratings...

you can call is dirty plaing i call it smart playing because of her odds with the POV.  look back at S6 and what the houseguests did to get James out same thing.  The only way they could get him out was to backdoor him right before it got to 6 houseguests because then everyone plays in the veto comp.

Obviously that would have been the "fair" thing to put up Jen, but still backdooring has become a part of the BB game, from way back when Nakomis backdoored Jase in season 5, James in season 6, a whole slew of people in season 7, and also nick mike and joe and dustin etc.

Daniele is not the first HOH to use POV on her own noms. Janelle did so in seaosn 6 when she wanted to ensure Jen leave the house she used the veto to save Maggie to ensure she would get James' vote. Not entirely the same thing but just wanted to say that it has been done by an HOH in the past.


Big Brother is not supposed to be fair. Thats why its so interesting to watch. There are no rules to break really, and anything can happen!

Your wrong, she wanted Jen to get POV so she could backdoor Eric. And then she used Kail as a "pawn".

And Jen won't be there next week. I think at this point she wants to go lay on a beach somewhere (who wouldn't). I know I wouldn't have put up with Dick as long as she has. And I do think up until now that Jen has controlled herself with him, hes the one that has used every situation to over react and make fun of her.

I think that it was fine to backdoor Jen, it was personal that she wanted her out. Although she did think twice about it but Dick kept saying "no no Jen has to go" - because HE can't control himself. What I think was cowardly of Daniele was that she said something about "I don't want people here who don't want the money". And Dick told Jen thats how everyone felt. For one, Daniele was the one saying that people wanted Jen in the F2 because she gave up all that money. And for 2 it was personal. Oh and we can't forget that Nick also wasn't there "for the money" yet Daniele wants him so bad So its a double standered.

Maybe she knew about Jess/Eric because shes a smart player, not a dumb one. It would be kinda obvious after Jess asked her not to vote out Dick but then Jen realized it after it was too late. Think about it. Maybe Daniele didn't tell her but maybe at the same time she did.

Yes i know that. But i dont think Jen did. Shes assuming, so by telling Jess and Eric that, its making Dani seem untrustworthy.

My 2-cents.

I think that BB told Jen to eat....informed her as to what the 'penalty' would be and that it might be a way to convince the others to keep her. She would be an automatic out next week.....if they so chose.

Jen is part of the 'Drama'....Drama makes good tv....BB does not want to lose her, so...in my opinion....they gave her a strategy/plan to get the others to keep her.

Again...just my 2-cents.

Yeah Kaysar was backdoored, but only twice. His first eviction he was up on the block from the beginning of the week.


Mama, I do think part of the reason Jen was nominated was personal, but it was also a strategic move on Dani's part. Jen is great at comps, and would have put Dani up if she had gotten HOH.

So i do think it is both personal and strategic. A little bit of both.
