No child would have fun in that house if a parent was in there with them!!
So, in that sense, Dani is no different than any other kid. Teenagers (and Dani is only 20 but "acts" FAR younger) are always embarrassed by their parents.
She IS however, VERY immature and has mastered the art of giving "the silent treatment."
There is nothing that Dick can say or do that will get Dani to treat him in a civilized manner. I have heard him tell her at least twice, that he loves her. Dani is silent, walks away. They could go to family counseling and it wouldn't work because Dick would be the only one willing to try. Danielle needs to be the victim. Healing her relationship with Dick would cause her to lose her victim status. Dani can't have THAT happen, because that is the only power she has.
In this game, Dani only goes to Dick when SHE wants something...crying to him about Nick....safety from nomination because he has HOH....cereal from his HOH basket....a private room and Dick's bed to sleep in up in HOH...a birthday wish to her boyfriend via Dick's HOH blog. Dani is a master at manipulation....I'd say she learned from the best (Dick) except for the fact that he didn't raise her. I wonder if it's genetic?
