Slowhatch, wherever that photo is, the Jump Statue is in the same city. Was that Salt Lake City?It was in the same set of Flickr photos. Here it is:

#8 is The Pyramid of Kukulkan, Chichen Itza. Yucatan, Mexico.

#9 also looks like Mexico, but I can not pin down where.  Outside of Mexico City most likely
