Do the two people that are nominated by Thursday automatically go home? How does it work?

Someone will probably explain it much better than I can but what I recall is, they have the first eviction, then they spring on the remaining HG's that they will have another HOH competition immediately and once that ends they then tell them the new HOH has to nominate 2 new Hg's and they vote immediately.

This year they are anticipating a double eviction but it still is a shocker when it happens.

The two evicted then go the the sequester house and we usually get to see them enter, first one then the second after they have a few minutes with the first evictee.

9/6 thursday--
voting is the first thing up--
When whoever is evicted --Julie Chen asks the HouseGuests to assemble for the HoH Competition.
Someone wins HOH -- then they are told to gather in the living room --
Julie tells the HOH to go to the Diary Room where they have to Nom 2 HG's
They then go back to the living room and Julie announces that the HOH has picked the 2 Noms.
The HG's prep for the POV comp -- POV comp --
Followed by the Veto ceremony
In the final moments, another eviction vote is held--whoever is voted out - now there are 4

9/10--sunday
On Sunday another HOH comp is held -- Monday / Tues we have the Nominations -- Veto Comp - Veto ceremony etc

9/13--Thursday--
Thursday night another HG's is evicted leaving the final 3 [there are still one too many HG's technically they should be down the the final 2 tonight --I wouldnt be surprised at all if it weren't another double eviction!]

9/18 tuesday finale -- winner /jury votes

Oh stop i cheated and went back to season 7

I was also thinking we might have another live show Sunday the 16th with the 3rd person leaving then leaving us to suffer with the final 2 for a mere 2 days instead of the most painful of all usual 5 days

i wonder if the numbers arent working out right because BB is planning on doing something like surivor has done the past few years,  instead of 2 finalist they have 3 to choose from.   That would be cool, then even if D&D made it to the end the jury would have a thrid person to chose from

I don't think it will work kc, they would only have 6 jurists  ??? Its not like Survivor where they know the outcome in advance and then would deal with a tie and since we never had a tie on Survivor we don't know how exactly they would deal with it.

Puddin, didn't someone already say it would be a jury of 7? I thought I'd read that in the last week or so. :P I'm hoping they don't end up with 3 finalists. That would suck. But, they do whatever they want it seems. :P

thats what I was explaining Seanaci, that there are 7 jurists and 2 finalists not 6 jurists with 3 finalists because it could be a tie 3-3 or 2-2 ---on Survivor when they have the final 3 there are 9 jurists but the vote known and how they deal with a tie breaker is only known to them.

So, it will be interesting this week.  Will it be Jameka, Eric, or Zach that goes home in the second double eviction ?  I will put my money on Eric. Next week it likely will be Zack followed by Sister Jameka.

Does the HOH even go to the DR? I thought last season when Chicken George got it they said you have to pick now no thought process.

As I recall, they went to commercial, then had to choose.

That's how I remember it too, Wendy.
 Found this at

http://www.cbs.com/primetime/bigbrother7/show/wk06/thu05.shtml

"HOLY SCHLA-MOLY
After congratulating George, Julie reveals the wicked double-eviction twist this week. "Expect the unexpected," she smiles. George must stand immediately and reveal his two new nominees. Stunned, he hoists James and Erika onto the block."
But, that's not to say BB8 will do it the same way.  Expect the Unexpected!  :yikes

I'm hoping Jameka or Eric. Especially if Dick or Danielle wins and has to put up two. My guess would be they'd get rid of Jameka as she has only played in the PoV and Food/Luxery comps thus far. I don't think they'd want her to be able to get HoH for a whole week and pick who goes to the final 2 with her.

I cant remember how this worked on past seasons.....
but if 2 people are actually leaving tonite, will they not have everyone pack their stuff?
(obviously that would be a big giveaway clue to the HG's)
or do they get to come back under TBTFH and pack afterwards? or do the other HG's pack for the other evictee??
Just curious if anyone remembered how this works?

I think BB does it so they aren't forewarned but I'm not positive about this.

BB might tell the nominees after the Veto Meeting tonight to pack their bags quickly.  We have a long commercial, and then poof!  A houseguest is thrusted out of the house again.  Don't quote me on this, this is just how I think it'll happen.

Honestly, I can't remember a 2 hour special. (Could be wrong though, I often am!) :-*

i thought this years double elimination was crap!!! it was sooooooo not fair.In the normal veto compititions the HOH and the 2 people on the block compete for the veto...{when they have enough house guest they draw balls from the bag tpo see who's going to help them..etc...}here comes my gripe...why did danielle and zack get to compete in the veto comp when they were the ones voting the ones on the block out??its not fair to those on the block-if thats the way it was going to be they should have done it that way from the start of this season and let all the HOUSE compete in the veto compititions ...............I'M SHOUTING NOT FAIR- :dick
