Sunday's Green Bay Packers game is first for Phil Keoghan, 'Amazing Race' host

The host of the CBS reality game show “The Amazing Race” will see his first NFL game in Green Bay on Sunday as the Packers take on the Detroit Lions.
“This is a huge honor,” Phil Keoghan said. “I get to see the best of the best playing on one of the most legendary grounds in sports.”
Keoghan gave a speech at the state Society of Human Resource Management conference in Wisconsin Dells and decided to make a weekend of it by taking in a Wisconsin Badgers in Madison and a Packers game in Green Bay.
He said he is pulling for the Packers and plans to tailgate with friends.
Keoghan is from New Zealand and a huge rugby fan but he said he’s been reading up on the history of the Frozen Tundra and Vince Lombardi.
He said he wants to fit in, but doesn’t want to wear a foam cheesehead.
“I think I need to be sedated to wear one of those … the longer you wear it the more it stinks like cheese,” he said.
Keoghan also plans to sample some of the area’s famous beers while in town.
As far as Brett Favre being a member of the Minnesota Vikings, he said it’s a sad commentary.
“He just doesn’t look right in purple,” he said.
