Peggy Bunker is officially a resident of Colorado now.

--- Quote ---Bunker back in Colorado on Fox 31
by Bill Husted on December 6, 2007

Now you have another reason to wake up at 5 a.m.

Well-known TV talent Peggy Bunker is the new reporter and fill-in anchor on Fox 31’s “Good Day Colorado.”

She’ll start behind the anchor desk Monday morning.

Bunker comes with some TV creds: Host of WE’s “She’s Moving In!”; host of WE’s “She House;” host of HGTV’s “Hidden Potential;” host of TLC’s “Date Patrol”; reporter on “E! News Live;” anchor of Westchester, NY’s Ch. 12 news; host of cbs.com’s “The Finish Line;” host of WB’s national morning show “The Daily Buzz” — with billboards around Chicago telling you to “Wake Up with Peggy Bunker, weekdays 6-8 a.m.”

Spoiler alert!

The only guy waking up with Bunker is her investment banker Denver boyfriend, who played a pivotal part in her move here after 10 years in NYC.

“I’m thrilled to be back in Colorado,” she says. “I’m refreshed.”

She’s a grad of CU-Boulder, where she was a communications and English literature major.

“I came out to visit and I liked Denver and I liked Fox,” she says. “I wanted to get back into morning television - and it seemed that everyone there was in a good place. It’s the place to be.”

'Amazing Race' still running
CBS greenlights 13th season
By JOSEF ADALIAN

'The Amazing Race,' featuring couple Kynt and Vyxin, has picked up viewers in its 12th outing, averaging 12 million viewers in its timeslot.

"The Amazing Race" isn't slowing down.
CBS has greenlit production on a 13th cycle of the reality warhorse from exec producers Jerry Bruckheimer and Bert van Munster. Skein's 12th edition is currently airing.

Quick pickup is a vindication for "Race," which appeared to be fading in the ratings during its 11th outing earlier this year -- but earned a pickup anyway.

The Eye planned to air the 12th cycle of "Race" next year, but when "Viva Laughlin" failed, CBS opted to sub in "Race" last month. It paid off: Helped by football, the nonscripted show notched its best premiere ratings since 2005.

Overall, the current cycle of "Race" has averaged 12 million viewers in its Sundays at 8 timeslot.

CBS alternative topper Ghen Maynard said the simplicity of the show's format is what works so well.

"I like that it's the best relationship show in reality," he said. "It's all real."

Phil Keoghan hosts "Race," which is produced by Bruckheimer Television and Earthview in association with ABC Television Studio. Jonathan Littman and Hayma Washington exec produce the show along with van Munster and Bruckheimer.

I haven't found any odds in Bodog yet, but there's this odd site; apparently you trade teams like stocks and bonds.
