TAR12 speculation on spoilers & teams etc ..
Slowhatch:
And it might mean a (2 weeks) later start if they want the show to finish during May sweeps.
And I don't know about that "tough...younger" talk; sounds like mactor stuff :( (but I hope I'm wrong).
puddin:
Sorry I moved your post to a new topic/media thread Slowhatch ..didn't mean to throw peach's post out if synch.
So question..do you all think they are really out there racing now?

--- Quote ---"The Amazing Race": The Emmy-winning reality show is not on the fall schedule and will return later. "The countries are very exotic," Littman says. "We're going to a couple of places that I don't even know where they are on the map. I've had to go look them up."
As for the teams? Lively.
"This is a tough group," Littman says. "They'll be younger. We still have a good balance."
The show will will do two fewer episdoes and drop the noneliminations to create more excitement.

Hi Slowhatch! :waves:
Nice find!
Maybe the younger thing fits in with the rumours of families again--do you think they might lower the age limit some? Teenagers?
I.m still hoping for a late fall start myself--but you know me--I never give up!
Wonder if this really reflects a tighten up on the purse strings rather than a streamline the show?
georgiapeach:
sorry--just move them all!
And yes--I do believe they are out there and have been racing for perhaps as much as two weeks. No evidence mind you, just gut feeling.
musicman85:
At least this time with families, they're not racing all in the US which is good news. Nothing bad about visiting places in the US, but it just lacks excitement when teams have to go to the biggest chair in the world verses a famous palace in a country.
