Am I the only one who as a child fried ants on the sidewalk with a magnifying glass? Why hasn't Kathy used her eyeglasses to heat up the tinder they have been using? It's as plain as the nose on her face. 8) Now, they've gone and given them flint. That's no fair.

I think it was in tina's chat that they tried the glasses but the RX was not strong enough to start the fire.    So it could be as simple as the lens are not magnified enought to catch the sun.

I think the flint was given because they do not want to have another S3 where people are not wanting to watch the survivors suffer.  It is nto good TV.

Theresa- I agree. Besides, if Tina did chat about using the glasses to start the fire, and they indeed tried using them, why wouldn;t they show us all that so we would not sit around thinking that they were all that dumb... and also why would they have shown Richard H. talking about he knew how to start the fire and he wasn't going to let them know so he could watch them squirm...... doesn't make sense.... maybe I am wrong though.....

You would think between Jeri's wits & Kathy's wits they would have figured that out but since they don't have much at all then they must feel stupid or very lazy :D ;D :D
