We don't know 100% certain if that was the case? Afterall there are lawyers running with production to make sure things go as planned. They can't randomly make NEL's or TBC's from what I've read and heard the racers say.

Also everything seemed to be rushed this leg, the FF [dont we know there was one not taken in Zanzibar] was newly added. The Nomes[sp] were out of place with a team winning the FF, so i dont know this leg seemed strange to me.
That FF Rules needs to be changed!

Re-checked ep 8. Phil introduced Fast Forward but does not mention how many are in the race, nor that a team can only use a FF once! Danny and Oswald teamed with Uchenna and Joyce used the FF in Krakow.
UNLESS, AT THE START OF THE NEXT LEG PHIL SAYS SOMETHING LIKE "IT HAS COME TO OUR ATTENTION THAT YOU, DANNY AND OSWALD USED THE FAST FORWARD IN HONG KONG. BUT SINCE A TEAM IS ONLY ALLOWED TO USE IT ONCE YOU MUST GO TO BACK OF THE PACK AND YOU ARE NOW MARKED FOR ELIMINTION NOT ERIC AND DANIELLE.
If my memory is correct something like this has happened in an earlier TAR where the next ep started off with a sit down talk by Phil and two teams on some rule infraction which affected the outcome of that leg. Will go back and check my files tomorrow.
It's possible, but we will have to wait until next week.
Times for the Kung Fu bamboo climb were way off. Eric and Danielle did not arrive there until just before sundown. The glares we saw behind the various climbers were large Klieg light used to light the scene and were not sun reflections. The teams arrived in Hong Kong at 1:10 and 3:30 (o.k. D/O did arrive earlier at 11:55 so there time on the roll over was more nearly correct.) The FF was no problem at all; what could the team do? cry out to let them out before the run was over? All they had to do was sit there and let the driver do all the work. Not like Joyce who had to shave her head!
Yield ahead; The BQ's can't use it; unless they change the rules again.

Gman we had the Kung Fu place wrong! Thats why the times were off. The Police Headquarters was actually where the Roadblock was not the Detour.
