Is Mr. Cheung's camera date-stamp set correctly? I think so. Also, he uses d-beta, so he's at a fixed location (I'd guess the pitstop. Because of the rigging I considered the old police hq, but it looks like there's a tree in the background). They probably use the WRP crew for the steadicam shots anyway. Can anybody read the letters on the umbrella?

No dice--but latest thought from someone upstream (sorry--I've lost that post) is that the Roadblock possibly could consist of having to kick down several doors and collect some of those and then do we know not what-- (all spec of course but sounds good!) and we have NO idea where that task is taking place...

The lack of buildings in the background makes me think it's either on the coast or on a rooftop. (Come on, there are high-rises EVERYWHERE in Hong Kong.) To my knowledge, rooftops in Hong Kong make use mostly of parapets, not railings or fences. So... on the harbour somewhere? Kai Tak?
Plus... After rotating, shearing and flipping, 'fook' for 'fortune'?

This shot was taken here (and you knew that too!) between 7:45 and 8:15 am (assumes December 12th)
There is a give-away shadow on the cylindrical hut on the top of the building in the background. The line that separates dark on the left from bright on the right defines a plane that includes the axis of the cylinder. The perpendicular to that plane points to solar azimuth. The bright "stars" were added by the editors.
