It's not like they have to come first or get eliminated, so even if they are fourth or fifth it would match up with the "are you kidding me"  tone from Mirna.

Does the sun set that late even at the beginning of December?

I used a site and apparently the sun sets at 3:22 on December 6th - 2006....that can't be right? Can it?

Absolutely, in Universal time, which is Greenwich mean time. You have to adjust it to the time zone you are in. In this case I presume we are talking Zanzibar, which is GMT + 3. So add 3 hours and you get 622pm which sounds right since Zanzibar is near the far western end of that time zone and they are near the equator.

I understand how many teams have to be eliminated and in what order.

My only question is what precludes teh Guidos from being eliminated in episode 7 as opposed to 8.

As far as I can tell we know we have an extended Pit Stop of at leat 36 hours after leg 6 (thanks to the beach scene, its the only way Eric & Danielle could be there with Charla & Mirna and Oswald & Danny).

It could even be a 48 hour Pit Stop (that has happened a couple times over the years).

Lets use Season 5's format, for example.

In which leg 5 is the first non elimination point, where Uchenna & Joyce are saved.

Leg 6.  Teri & Ian are eliminated

Leg 7 (especially if it does get to Poland) could have Joe & Bill eliminated or run over on the tarmac.

Leg 8 Non elimination of some form, I have been assuming that the shot we see is from leg 8 (though it could be leg 7).

Leg 9-Another non elimination of some kind.  And this still gives us the Guidos gone in Poland, and UJ in the Baku caves.

Leg 10 a team is eliminated (Uchenna & Joyce and it could be the occurance of the Baku Caves) or one of the other two points (Hong Kong and what is the other possability of a Pit Stop that we haven't for sure nailed down.

Leg 11 a none elimination of some kind. and the Pit Stop at either Hong Kong or that other possable Pit Stop loaction.

Leg 12.  Guam with Oswald & Danny eliminated (NOOOOOO!!!!)

Leg 13 final leg with finale three and a stop in San Fran.

That is a copy of the season 5 elimination/Non elimination pattern.

Why wouldn't it work here?

Or I am I just not seeing 2 + 2=4.

I used this site:

If the sun really does set that early that makes it even more likely that C/M are ahead because that would mean they would have to be there the day before the other teams BEFORE 4 PM

the weatherunderground is a good site too ..what day are we looking at?
heres DEC 6th
