EP6: "We're Going To Trade You For Food Now."
michael:
Maybe the guidos take the fast forward.
C/M, D/K, D/O, U/J, E/D are seen doing tasks. T&I COULD take the fast forward but that would mean the boot-list is wrong, which leaves only one team: The guidos!
(if there is even a fast forward on this leg)

After being away for 9 hours, I return with geat resolve. First, kudos to CHATEAU for catching and correcting my error about Saturday vs. Sunday for the Air Malawi flights Johannesburg to Blantyre:

2. The only place they can go on Air Malawi (a necessity based on the pictures we have seen) is to Blantyre on QM202 departing 1425 arriving 1635.
But according to the Air Malawi African route structure and timetable, they don't have that flight on Saturday. December 2nd was a Saturday.
The implications of that are:
1. Teams may get 24 hours in Maputo (and maybe we see that at Xia-Xia beach) or 24 hours in the Johannesburg area, but they aren't going forward from Johannesburg on Air Malawi until Sunday afternoon. The incoming flight could be TM301 0700 to 0800 MPM to JNB. The outbound will from JNB to Blantyre on Sunday Dec. 3 will be QM202 departing 1200 arriving 1410, connecting with QM6202 departing 1500 arriving 1740 (including one hour time zone change).
2. the only reason to go to Dar-es-Salaam is that it is the gateway to Zanzibar and closest point accessible on Air Malawi. Teams may then have the option of sailing to Zanzibar Island or flying. Precision Air flights include:
PW453 0700 to 0720 Monday Dec. 4
PW730 0800 to 0820 Monday Dec. 4
If they gave me a choice, I would get on a boat and get moving toward Zanzibar Island.
3. Since it takes about 24 hours to reach Poland from Zanzibar and since teams need to be arriving in Poland on Dec. 7 to keep on the schedule we know of later in the race, there could be one more pitstop but it has to be in Dar-es-Salaam or more likely Nairobi(because it's the major hub for nonstop flights to Amsterdam and Zurich) due to the tight timing.

If the log gathering is a detour option, then Eric/Danielle did it too... Guys behind Danielle in first picture (one in red shirt, the other in vertical stripes) are same as those in second picture. Nope nope. :groan:
And the d00d with the marimba could show up here. Just a thought, based on the terrain and the houses around.

Has anybody seen any shots of the guidos doing any of the tasks yet?!
I hope they aren't the team who takes the FF if there is one on this leg.
