Well, PEACH, if you've been reading my posts (which I believe you do), you would know that I have speculated that a boat trip is one of two ways I think teams get from Dar-es-Salaam over to Zanzibar. Whether it's on a dhow or not or called a "deep sea adventure" is not really important since it will be a vital tranportation link. It looks to me that teams that choose this could get to Zanzibar ahead of teams that fly, unless the winds die down.

I absolutely doubt that the "lost pitstop" was as far away as the Serengeti or Ngorogoro. Those are still distinct possiblities for episode 7, although I believe that the pitstop will be closer to Nairobi.

Flight --But the Cha's catch up to Charla & Mirna...hmmmmm I wonder if C/M had to wait for the Dhow ride and thats how the Cha's caught up? Maybe 2 teams per Dhow leaving the BQ's behind to ride by themselves?

OK, I'll try this again, in the right thread this time:

I'm reasonably sure the hired dhows belong to the Safari Blue tour company operating out of Fumba. Could the boats have been hired for a channel crossing? Maybe, but I'll put my chips on the Charla troubles being snorkeling or something similar.
