There are a lot of people saying that Sanjaya was in the bottom 3 because the producers decided to put him there. However usually when someone ends up in the bottom three their fans vote even harder. I don't think the producers are that stupid. However he could be this year's Nikki McKibbin. I still think he will leave 10th, however if I go to see the tour I will be going to get a beer during his set or I will have already had a lot of beers because then it won't be as painful.

I really don't think Melinda or Lakisha will win. I think one of them will leave at 5 or 6 for the shock factor. Also the fact that they are probably splitting votes doesn't help them either. I think this is the hardest season to predict by far of all of them.

You could be right about the two ladies, you just never know with AI. However I do think both will do just fine, possibly better if they don't win.

My problem is with both of them not that they aren't great singers cause they both are but they are generic. Let's look at the success of past Idols. Only one has been a true pop artist Kelly Clarkson, Carrie does country, Chris does rock, probably the three most successful. Look at how the RnB singers have done Ruben has bombed and Fantasia career has slowly disappeared and now she has moved to Broadway. There are tons of other artists out there just like Melinda and Lakisha and for that reason too much competition to sell CDs. Kelly broke the mold of pop music, Carrie has become the biggest thing in country and Chris is the biggest thing in rock right now. There is never going to be another Whitney or Mariah so I really find it pointless to push these two girls.
