Romber and Danny/Oswald finally make it to Lima, bu the Taca flight is the flight all of the other teams are on.
Teams board the Lima-Santiago flight, except Romber and Danny/Oswald, late arriving from Guyaquil.
Rob (seeing the other teams board): It's everybody.
Rob to Agent: Come on. Get us on. Help us out.
Oswald: Por favor!
Agent: Impossible.
Rob conf: A miserable game, this Race.
COMMERCIAL.
Rob: They'll get there 15 minutes ahead of us.
Romber and D/O head for their ordinary flight, although it's delayed and will get there later.
E/D first to arrive in Santiago, take taxi into town. Teams run through the airport.
U/J, CLUE: ROADBLOCK.
Must go to building's ground floor, adn search for letters of the alphabet on display. Word will unscramble to be one of the ten destinations on plaques. Show your unscrambled destination to the attendant for the next CLUE.
"Who's got attention to detail?"
Uchenna seems to be friendly with Danielle as Eric is doing the Roadblock.
Men in the boardroom are wearing letters. Letters are on pads, on ties, on watches, on pages lying on the table ...
Joyce thinks the word is "Planetarium." Wrong-o.
Kandice finally figures out that the pictures with the native titles are the clue answers.
1st, D/K, CLUE: Fly to Calama, Chile.
Phil: In Chiquicamata, the Copper Mine has the next CLUE.
Joyce is still struggling.
Eric is stumped.
Finally the Guido figures out the letters match the pics on the wall. Joyce hasn't got it yet.
2nd, Guidos.
Uchenna is pissed.
Mary and Charla begin the Roadblock.
Mary conf: The first thing I did was write the names down from on the wall. (whoa!)
Finally Oswald and Romber begin.
Mary and Charla discuss the words ... they get Chiquicamata or howevia you spell it, and head for the exit.
Joyce still doesn't get it. Uchenna is still pissed.
David/Mary 3rd, Charla/Mirna 4th, leave.
Uchenna conf: I can't imagine it could be that hard!
Teams start comparing notes as other teams have figured it out.
Eric: Bastards!
Uchenna: You gotta be kidding me!
Romber finishes in 7th.
Eric to Ian: I have no idea.
Eric, however, does have the correct word. E/D on their way out.
Uchenna, still waiting: This is driving me nuts!
