I was just Google Earthing my way up the Hudson.  I can't find any info on the place.  There is a park south of it called Philiipstown Park.  I think the place is private.  But that mansion looks important.  It must have historic significance.

On the east side of the river, across from USMA, is Cold Spring. Boscobel is the mansion in town, and it has a Hudson view and even a small graveyard (see here).
