In the map I mentioned earlier, you can see many of the southwest tasks were close together: the "pirate island" (Ile Aux Benitiers), Case Noyale, and the salt flats (I couldn't find the particular one, there are too many to choose from and I didn't see any place signs). The Chateau Bel Ombre seems to be distinct from the village of Bel Ombre. It describes itself on the website as "...amidst elegant hundred years old French gardens at the edge of the golf course and at the foot of mountain." The only place I could find that matches that description is a golf course at the bottom of Morne Brabant (kmz attached).

Regarding the Gold Rush challenge, Rob/Kimberly headed off to the Rusty Shack instead, on the opposite shore of the island.

Geez, does spoiling too much into the future make you lose track of the past? ;)

FWIW, this pic of D/K opening the roadblock clue is clearly the exact same spot where Izabela shot her video. You can see the identical boats in the background in the video.

Must have been within walking/VERY short driving distance from the Isla Mauritia ship, as their hair is still soaking from the swimming task, and I believe they are wearing the same life jackets from the swimming task. The short distance would explain why the order of teams was not affected at all by the roadblack and made for an easy "edit-out."

The kayak task also makes more sense of Godwin's comment about "having enough of the sea" when the six-pack is making their Salt/Sea detour decision. They would have already done a swimming AND kayaking task.
