Trying to help the wonderful TAR detectives - I was searching for hotels and came across this picture on Google images...

It tells about a 5 star hotel that was a ship that was burned during the Iraq invasion - trying to find more shots maybe this is where or near Peter & Sarah's confession??
I know I should be working but, it is quite adicting trying to find images that match up :waves:

Here's a little closer shot of the Ghani Palace Hotel -- hard to tell, but it looks like the windows with wood frames have that same "sunrise" or "wagonwheel" pattern as the top of the window in the David & Mary shot.

I've already been down the Kabad road, so to speak. A couple of sources put it at 80km northwest of the city (which would put it almost on the border), and another source cites it as 50 km southwest. No GE luck on either of those. There's more than one racetrack, though; and close to the Al-Atraf track I mentioned previously is a smaller track with a tower similar to the one Banzai mentioned. I've also attached a second possibility, a track south of the city with a very small tower.
