Phil: This is Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. In the countryside, this rice paddy was the 3rd pitstop. At the end of the leg, Rob received medical attention for collapsing,, and Mary's ankle slowed her down.
Erwin/Godwin, 10:55 pm, CLUE:
Travel by taxi to Hanoi.
Phil: Find Lai Tai Doi Ho Garden and LISTEN for the next clue.
CLUE: Pick up your Dong from the man at the table.
Tyler/James (missed the time), get clue and make "dong" jokes.
Rob/Kimberly 11:26 pm.
Rob conf: I had heat exhaustion but now I feel really good.
Rob to cabbie: SLOW DOWN, BRO!
Dustin/Kandice 11:27 pm.
Conf: How competitive we are! We! Push! Oiurselves! With! Our! Competitive! Juices!!111
Peter/Sarah, 11:28 pm.

Lyn/Karlyn conf about winning the race for the chirrun, to make their lives better.
David/Mary 11:32 pm.
Conf: If this race gets any harder I'll have to be Superwoman! I dunno how I'm staying in the race. I'm doing it for my kids. I don't want to give up. We're within minutes of everyone.

Disembodied voice: ATTENTION RACERS.
First three teams arrive at the statue and run up some steps to listen.
In the small garden, crickets.

More teams arrive.
Voice: ATTENTION RACERS. TAXI ACROSS RED RIVER TO BEN XI GIA LAM THEN BUS TO BEN XE BAI CHAY. FIND HYDROFOIL HARBOR.
Teams change places as they get back in taxis. Some teams make up time; some lose time.
Tyler/James, Peter/Sarah, Rob/Kimberly lose time as (I think??) Lyn/Karlyn take over 1st.
Rob: What are you waiting for bruh?
Kimberly: I need you NOT to freak out now!
Rob: GO! GO!
Kimberly: I almost want to get out of this taxi and go back.
Erwin/Godwin fall to 6th.
Mary/Dave fall to last.
Mary to cabbie: I love yew!
Fireworks!
Rob: Open the trunk, dude. We're getting out.
Kim: LET US OUT!
Rob: I pay you. Let us out.
For Dave/Mary, VOICE: Here is your clue. Taxi to Ben ...
Rob/Kimberly currently in last, thanks to Rob's assholishness.
Rob: I don't speak your language, man.
Kim: Rob, calm down.
Rob: He's just toying with us.
Kim: STOP!
Rob: I'm so pissed off right now.
Kim: STOP!

They get out.
Man demands money.
Rob: NO. You didn't do anything!
Rob/Kimberly finally hear the VOICE CLUE and get a different cab.
Kim: Shaddap.
Rob: I'm done talking.
Lyn/Karlyn's cab driver can't seem to find the Red River; they don't know how to communicate wiith him, Berlitz book or summat.
They find it ... NOT OPEN UNTIL MORNING.
Tyler/James seem to be there, as do Tom/Terry.
Getting out, Lyn/Karlyn ask directions, have someone direct their driver.
Lyn/Karlyn find it in 3rd.
Rob/Kimberly finally arrive in next to last and bitch about having a bad taxi driver. Dave/Mary end up in last, but all the teams are together leaving.
Phil: All teams now traveling on same bus, 103 miles east to Ha Long Bay, to search for Hydrofoil Harbor for the next clue.
MORNING.
Teams pile out of the bus in order.
CLUE: ROADBLOCK.
Who has strong arms and legs?
Phil: Power through a potentially frightening challenge, climb mechanical ascenders 90 feet up a sheer rock. There are only three mechanical ascenders, 1st come 1st served.
Dave yells at Mary, who's losing time.
Sarah to Dave: I've got strong arms and legs but I'll be slower than the other teams.
Mary: Don't pull me,dammit! Dagumit :lol:
Lyn/Karlyn get in a boat after Dustin/Kandice cut in front of them for another boat. Dustin or Kandice got a nasty cut on her leg.
Karlyn: What!?
Whatevia: That's what she get for cuttin' in front.
