Erwin/Godwin, Bilal/Saeed, Vipul/Arti, race to the Meridian Gate.

The 7:15 cards are gone.
There's 7:30 and "LAST TEAM."

Vipul/Arti pull 7:30.
Cho brothers pull 7:30.

Bilal/Saeed get "LAST TEAM."

Phil: Bilal/Saeed, you're the last team to arrive at this point in the race. I said there would be surprises. Even though this is not a pitstop, I'm sorry to tell you, you've both been eliminated from the race.
Both: Wow. We didn't expect this. It doesn't say "pitstop."
Phil: Yes.
Both: You have no control over anything. Only the creator does.

puddin:
Teams reflect on the fact that Bilal/Saeed got the heave-ho.

Daybreak.
7:00 am.
Phil: Three groups depart 15 minutes apart, based on the order checked in.
CLUE: Travel by motorbike sidebar to this junction (missed the sign) for the next clue.
Sarah: My knee is leaking hydraulic flud.   
Peter: This is one thing I can't fix.

Confs; Duke/Lauren talk about getting tough.
Tyler/James talk about addiction.
Lyn/Karlyn talk about surprising the other teams with how well they did.


Peter/Sarah, 1st, CLUE: DETOUR.
Labor or Leisure?
Labor, take a cab, 1 mile to market, use bricks and traditional methods to pave 45 ft section of sidewalk in a pattern.
Leisure, take cab to park, relaxation exercise similar to Tai Chi, successfully performed in unison with the group. Could be stuck here for a long time 'til they get it right.

Most teams are choosing to pave the sidewalk.
There's a "model" sidewalk they are to copy.

Phil: In bricklaying, teams will have to learn, they must place the smaller gray bricks before the larger red ones.

Conf, Lyn: Karlyn is quicktempered. She'll blow her stack.
Tyler/James seem to have figured out the gray/red thingy.
The other teams are stumped.
Peter/Sarah seem to have copied the other teams and start to put down gray blocks.
Thought I'd like those two ... but ... grr ...
The next group of racers chooses their detour.
Tom/Terry arguing about bikes.
Most teams still choosing labor.

Teams trying to get to the park lament the lack of English speakers.
Erwin/Godwin in 10th choose labor.
Vipul/Arti in 11th choose to find an English-speaker, where there are none.
Vipul: This is bad.
