Re: the votes, the only way I'd go that route is if I knew for sure the bootee would receive MORE than 5 votes. See, what if they got only 4 votes? That would = 80 pts as opposed to 100 pts for getting voted off! It's a crap shoot if we have no idea how many votes it will be...so seems safer to pick who gets voted off....if the consensus across the spoiler boards indicates one certain person. (or in last week's case, TWO)
Re: the challenges, we don't get points for EACH player unless we pick 4 players to "win a challenge". IN that case, our TOTAL points for the Survivor Picks would be only 140 instead of 270.
We get points ONLY for each player we pick to win a challenge. Until the Merge, each player cannot win more than One challenge, b/c they are winning as a GROUP.
After the Merge, if ONE person wins both Reward and Individual challenges, we would get double points if we picked that person. Also, during the Finale...One player could win multiple challenges. In that case, game points would be doubled or more if we pick the correct player!
Hope this helps, and if anyone else has any suggestions on increasing our points, please share. Cool if we could get the #1 spot this week. :jam:

Hey Team, did you read this on the home page at FantasySurvivor.com? Some players lost all their points. They made picks after the show started....and got ALL their points taken away as a result since they took advantage of the site's deadline technical glitch. :naughty:

Week 6 - We have finished processing and posting the result for the 6th week of Fantasy Survivor. After hearing from many of our players on both sides of the issue and combing though the game logs we have decided to disqualify the selections of 29 of the 1535 accounts for the week. Due to the technical glitch that kept Fantasy Survivor from locking selections on time, it was obvious from the game logs that a few players decided to take advantage of the situation and change their selections as Survivor was airing on the East coast, with some changing their minds up to 15 different times during the hour. Due to this, we had no choice but to issue a 0 score to all players who submitted selections after the 20 minute mark. All users who submitted their final selections before the first challenge begun were accepted as is (about 11 minutes into the show), while ther remaining handfull of selections were considered on a case by case basis. We feel this is the only fair resolution to the matter in order to reward the 1,500+ players who recorded their picks without the benefit of watching Survivor before deciding what predictions to submit. Thanks for your understanding in this matter.

The deadline is 5 minutes before the show starts, so if the site is letting you in after the deadline, beware!

Sorry Rudy, I forgot that we couldn't pick the same player for more than 1 question. Remembered a few minutes after I posted and at that time there had been no replies so I deleted it thinking I had got it before anyone read my mis-information. I was hoping we could pick the booted survivor for both the booted and gets votes questions.

about the challenges - if the same tribe wins both the Reward and the Immunity challenge then any member of that tribe will score 2X the point value for Wins a Challenge. It has only happened during week 4 so far.
