NYC to rally against Survivor: Cook Islands

I guess I'm the lone person that does have a problem with it. I do think they are crossing the line. But I also think they did it for exactly this reason. They wanted to create a controversy to get people to tune in. I didn't appreciate the ageism thing or sexism thing they've also done in the past.

I do think the show is growing stale and they're trying all these gimmicks to keep it going. I think instead of the gimmicks they need to pick people that will grab the viewers attentions. A lot of these shirtless reality hunks and stick thin chicks meld into your mind and you can't even remember their name afterwards.

In the past Survivor had some great characters like: Richard Hatch, Sue Hawk, Rudy, Rufus, etc. They need some more people like that.

They can divide the tribe up into birth signs, but unless the people on the show have personalities that will grab the viewers attention, what's the point?

I think the spirit of this season is to celebrate the strength and agility of all races.  Especially to show that what it really boils down to is developing relationships and cooperation with others--no matter the race.  I think seasons past have shown that not one race is better than the other.  One thing I have noticed already, is that it is building a better appreciation for their own cultures and where they have come from.  (Example:  The asian Tribe thought Cao Boi was crazy, but developed a better respect for him after helping a fellow tribe member.  The african american tribe and hispanic tribe also noticed how rich their cultures were.)  It appeared that the caucasian tribe was a little taken back with how things were going.  I think all cultures should celebrate their heritage and this is one way that can draw attention to respecting each other and different cultures.  Good luck to all tribes on Survivor this season!!

mabye we need a few less bueatiful people and more of the real life down to earth people.

and i want to know how on a deserted island with susposedly supplies do they keep there teeth so white and shinny?  and there hair never looks unwashed or unkempt.  the guys do grow beards but how come the girls never get hairy armpits or legs?

and on the early shows when they mostly only had rashioned amounts of rice you could deffently see the people loosing weight but on the shows of late i havent noticed the drastic weightloss

WillRules:
I agree. Some of the more interesting player have been real looking people. Like Twyla, who was a hoot.

Strangely enough those are usually the ones I root for more than the pretty people.

i would have really liked to see her stay around longer. she could have made it really inestering to watch later in the game.

I like that guy on the aisa team the one from vietnam helping the yul guy with his headache.  i think if he can stay around he will be interesting to watch.

I also liked bruce alot and wished that he hadnt gotten sick last season  they need to let him and mike from surivor africa have a second chance
