Actress Tori Spelling will reportedly get less than $1 million from the $300 million to $500 million estate of her late father, U.S. TV mogul Aaron Spelling.
A source close to the star of her father's 1980s hit, "Beverly Hills, 90201," and her own recent VH1 comedy, "So NoTORIous," told People magazine Spelling left his daughter a cash sum as well as some stocks that were in total "less than $1 million."
It remains to be seen whether Spelling, 33, will contest the will and its executor, her estranged mother, Candy, 60, People said. Mother and daughter have been exchanging angry words in the media since Aaron Spelling died last month.
The source told People the struggling newlywed was disheartened by the relative pittance because, in spite of her feud with her mother, she was always close to her father.
"It's not right that people think she's an heiress," the source told People. "It's the furthest from the truth."
