« on: June 29, 2006, 02:25:20 PM »
wtf is this? heres' a clip of teh latest punch from barbara.
http://www.tvgasm.com/archives/clipgasm/
barbara walters is so god damn passive aggressive.
hahahha.. dude all this drama. The View is supposed to be a show that represents women unity and power. Now they're all acting like a bunch of caddy, immature, lil women... how embarassing.

I can not see the clip due to Quick time issues....yes there is drama but wasn't Star the one saying she would not work with Rosie?  I do nto watch the show that often.... will Rosie change the whole dynamics of the show?

I don't understand why rosie cares so much about star's stomach surgery.

i think rosie is just upset about women altering their bodies in general to fit this 'idea' of beauty. meh, i dotn mind it that much.. if thats what they want, thats what they want.

So she had a little surgery...most hollywood people have!! There has to be something deeper than that.

well if Star got angry and lost her job because she did not want to say or not say if she had surgery.  Let's see...you lost your stardom and income because you coudl nto play nice with others.

i agree who cares if she had the surgery or not...I think her face is too skinny ~ maybe I was just use to the old face.

Good luck to her in the future.

ok...revealing a little about myself.....I had the stomach surgery...went from 362 lbs to 230-240 depending on the day..I am 5 11  so that makes me a size 12 (14 during "that time") lol....I used to be a size 30 before surgery I lost 140 lbs from surgery 15 from tummy tuck and in the last 4 years have regained 20-25 lbs which I was told by the doctors would happen and which I was actually glad happened cause I was looking anorexic at 5  11  and 207(size 10)...and I tell you guys this only becuase the most flack I got after loosing the weight was from people who needed the surgery but for medical, financial, or other reasons could not have it.  Maybe Rosie cant have the surgery and...well....is giving Star the same treatment I got from my EX-best friend....just a thought

Potatos

Congrats on the loss of weight....in regards to rosie not having the $$ i highly doubt that was the case.  I think its more of a matter of she accepts who she is and is ignorant to the fact that star didn't.  to each their own is something i am always saying....as well as if you are not happy with yourself...do someting about it....there are other means of weight loss its a matter of what ways you can emotionally, financially and physcially do it!!

COOL!!!  Congrats to your friend too!!!  Just wonder why someone like Rosie ( Whom I was a HUGE fan of) would hold something against someone if they are just trying to better their health and self image

Larry Kings interview with Star was good.

According to Star she never denied she had surgery - even wrote about it in her book...i think this was a misunderstanding with some of the viewers.

She didn't sell her photo's to People magazine and was told in Nov. when rumors started to surf about her departure she had nothing to worry about.

I never knew about her surgery, and when I saw her on the show about a month ago for the first time in years she just looked scary.  I thought she had some disease that was causing her to lose weight.  I could really care less about how she looked, it was about time for the group to get new blood in there, it was becoming stale according to the misses.  Glad she is gone, Rosie should make the show fun and hopefully Joy will leave and Barbara will be on less often.  Love Elizabeth and hope she can take a bigger role in the show.
