question about houseguests
« on: June 22, 2006, 02:59:31 PM »
I understand that 6 houseguests will be chosen by the mass and the other 6 by the producers.  My question is, where will the producers choose their houseguests from--from the 20 announced last night or other past houseguests that wasn't mentioned last night?

from the press-release

During the premiere of BIG BROTHER: ALL-STARS, all 20 candidates will be present and awaiting the news of who will play the game.  Host Julie Chen will announce the 12 who will immediately enter the house.

See it says all 20 will be present , I'll guess they are the only 20 ! Of course thats my guess  :snicker:

It's probably just wishful thinking on my part, but I'd love to see Amy or Marvin walk in later as a surprise twist. :jam:

That is quite interesting, I wouldn't put anything past cbs,
There is definitely going to be some unexpected twists in the game.
It wouldn't surprise me one bit if cbs put HG's in the house who are not on that list.

I say hell YES to Geroge. BB1 was so different (he was banished, not evicted), that I would love to see how he could play the new Big Brother.

Hope this is OK. I copied a quote from another topic, so my question
wouldn't be  :ot:

I  didn't watch Season 1, but have watched all of the other seasons.

Can someone fill me in--What did Chicken George do to get banished?

i can try to fill you in,
keep in mind that it was a long time ago andi am recalling on pure memory

Season 1 was the only season that we the viewers got to vote out the HG's
everyone in the house would cast a vote for who they want out and the public would vote on the 2 with the highest number of votes ( No HOH )
There was Britney and Chicken George on the block and Georges home town got together and had phone votes going non-stop
there was a relitive that worked at the phone company or something like that
It was a whole Keep George in the house -Champaign exstravanganza!! they had phone headquaters and everything

Once Britney was out of the house she learned of this,

Then for some reason a HG got to speak to someone from the outside
Josh won the call and since he had developed a releationship with Britney,
she was his call
she told him all about it
and once Josh informed the others about the Champaign to keep him on,
A lot of HG turned against him,
That was pretty much the end of Chicken George

From what i remember he was a really nice person, and respectful to everyone,
and its not like he could help what was going on outside the house,

hope that helped a little

That was pretty much how I remember it.  Good recap!

Thanks Will4Pres for the info. Doesn't sound like Chicken George was "banished" but he was out because of other people.

Maybe he DOES deserve another chance?

I wish we'd watched BB1 instead of Survivor that year, but who knew we'd
like BB more?

We saw all the other BB seasons though!

 :thankyou:

I found episodes of BB1 online and couldn't get past the first episode.  I didn't start watching until Season 2, maybe I should give BB1 a second try since Chicken George looks entertaining.

My question is, where will the producers choose their houseguests from--from the 20 announced last night or other past houseguests that wasn't mentioned last night?

That is very interesting... ??? and I don't think that CBS ever said that the 6 they choose will be from the 20 candidates, we just assumed that they would.  Which tells me that there is a very good chance that they might not be.

I also think that there is a good chance that after a few weeks, CBS will be allowing at least one person back in maybe two.  Maybe whoever gets the 7th highest votes or the man and the woman with the 4th highest votes???

I think it would be an interesting twist if other people were brought into the house after the original 12, to SURPRISE them.  :waves:

Maybe Im remembering wring, but I thought 12 was a low #, is that the # that is normally in the house?

Season 6 there were 14 and kaysar came back as America's Choice so actually their were 15 weeks of eliminations.
Season 5 had 14
Season 4 started with 13 but one guy freaked out and got expelled leaving them with 12
Season 3 had 12
Season 2 had 12
I don' know about Season 1

It seems that each season has more and more HG'S so it does seem ODD that there would only be 12 HG's in Season 7, especially when they are trying to get the best of the best in the house.  There has to be a twist of some kind.

VOTE FOR DANIELLE!!!
