I recognized him, but I watched America's Got Talent. I have to dig up the other celebrities for the Big Brother.

***Celebrity Big Brother***
Celebrity Big Brother 7 has been confirmed to start airing in January 2007, and will run for four weeks instead of three as was the length the year before.
It has been reported that David Hasslehoff, Adam Ant, and Kevin Federline will appear as contestants in the show.

'Celeb Big Brother' wants Sarah Harding
Tuesday, 28th November 2006, 11:41
LIFE STYLE EXTRA (UK) - ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ bosses have asked Girls Aloud’s Sarah Harding to name her price to appear in the show. The reality TV producers think the sexy 25-year-old – known for her partying and heavy drinking – is the perfect celebrity to sex up the show and boost ratings when it begins next January. A source told The Daily Star newspaper: “Sarah’s our dream girl. We’re working on a mix of stars for the show, but she’s the one we have set our hearts on. She could name her price.” If the feisty blonde does go into the Big Brother house she could join TV presenter John Leslie, tempestuous Bond girl Grace Jones, drag act RuPaul and former boyband member Duncan James.

If K-Fed is on Celebrity Big Brother, then I definitely have to see this!  But, we all know the audience will boo him and vote him out first.

Hmmm, maybe I'll have to do an article on this. Or better yet, maybe we can collaborate on this?

I'm up for collaborating on BBuk.  We'd have to wait until we get more word on the show first, maybe sometime before Christmas time?

I've always had an idea for an article comparing Julie Chen with Davina McCall, but haven't really thought about it much.

I'm up for that if they are!

I haven't heard of any of these celebs except for the last two.  Maybe I need a brush up on my British Celebrities.

So far I know five of them. Grace Jones is a singer and an older Bond girl. RuPaul is from the 80's mostly but still pops up from time to time. Adam Ant is another 80's singer, and of course I know Kevin and Hasselhoff.

I remember last year, they had a politician in the house, a famous feminist bhuddist, a boy-band singer, and a guy named Maggot.

Nothing (to my knowledge) has been confirmed. Most of those names were in the newspages today though.

This comes from the official website: http://bbuksite.net/article/bb85.html

We take a look at some of the increasing speculation. But the questions is… which rumours will prove to be true?

A fresh rumour we’ve seen is that bosses are approaching Girls Aloud’s Sarah Harding for a possible stint in the house. According to The Daily Star, producers have told her to ‘name the price’ thinking that her good looks and love for partying will draw viewers. A source told the paper: “Sarah’s our dream girl. We’re working on a mix of stars for the show, but she’s the one we have set our hearts on. She could name her price.” In the past she’s been romantically linked to Calum Best and Stephen Dorff. She recently became the face of Ultimo lingerie.

If Sarah was this years good looks, then Tommy Sheridan would be this years political contestant. Jeffry Archer has been rumoured for the show, as has Boris Johnson, although he has since ruled himself out. Sheridan is different, refusing to totally deny his appearance in a radio interview. When asked by DJ if he would appear, he said: “Erm, probably not. Not because I think I’m above it - I was one of the few defenders of George Galloway when he did it last year. All I’d say is, you can’t believe everything you read about Tommy Sheridan.”

Other people rumoured to appear include former Hi-De-Hi star Su Pollard and more Most Haunted presenter Derek Acorah. He’s been rumoured to appear for a number of series now, but this could be the time he finally joins the house.

The next person to be rumoured to appear is John Leslie. The presenter was found innocent of rape charges, but has since struggled to find work. An appearence in the house could turn his fortunes around, although Michael Barrymore hasn’t found much work since he joined the house last year. Other celebrities rumoured to appear include US singer Grace Jones and drag star RuPaul.

Duncan James has been ruled out. He will be appearing in ITV1’s Dancing On Ice.

Stick with BBUK for more roundup of rumours.

Channel 4 has signed a new deal with Endemol, keeping the show on air until at least 2010. Channel 4 has apparently paid £180 million to keep the show for three more years. They sealed the rights to the show, expected to cost around £60 million for each series, after ITV expressed interest in buying the format.

However, ITV decided not make an official bid for the show, leaving the price tag considerably lower than what it may have been. The deal also includes future series of Celebrity Big Brother. The current contract was due to run out after Big Brother 8, and many speculated that ITV would swoop in and snatch the format. Simon Shaps, ITV’s director of television, apparently spoke with Endemol about buying the show, but decided not to buy the format, allowing Channel 4 to sign a new deal for the show.

Big Brother has been very valuable for Channel 4, helping push up the channel’s share and attracting a large amount of 16-34s and is now considered Channel 4’s flagship show. Reports have suggested that losing Big Brother would have been a huge blow to Channel 4.

Great news to hear the show has been renewed for the next three years!

I can't believe that they never mentioned Hasslehoff or K-Fed in the first article.  Maybe they haven't been officially confimed yet.

The name Grace Ross and Sarah Harding have been very interesting for me to reasearch, so I decided to look them up on Wikipedia and here's what I found:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grace_Jones
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarah_Harding

Sarah looks like a cutie.  I think, if Sarah is going into the house, she'll go far.
===
I also searched BBuk Celeb 7 on Wiki, very interesting rumors:
"Celebrity Big Brother 7 has been confirmed to start airing in January 2007, and will run for four weeks instead of three as was the length the year before.
It has been reported that David Hasslehoff, Adam Ant, Boris Johnson, Jeffrey Archer, and Kevin Federline will appear as contestants in the show."
===
So what would make K-Fed want to go on the UK version of the show?  Me thinks he needs the extra air-time, and the break-up with Brit might have affected it too.  I wonder if he expects to make it there long, he'll be out faster than Shahbaz (only he won't quit, he'll be be voted out).

I'm very familiar with Grace Jones, but I agree, Sarah Harding should go far.
