Hey...I disagree that that frame is from India, I think it is probably from Kuwait.

The first frame of the people in Post 636 by puddin has a man with a head covering -- I've only seen this in real prominence in Muslim cultures. Also, the women have hijabs on (the woman right next to the man with the head covering is clearly wearing a hijab in the style that many Muslim women wear hijabs) -- even the young girls are simply covering their hair -- and it looks like desert. So I think it's definitely Kuwait or some other Middle Eastern country. There are Muslims, of course, in India, but I can't think of any desert-type area in India with Muslims (I'm saying this partially because I was born/lived there). I may be wrong, but since we have Kuwait as a definite, I would say go with Kuwait.

I search for "how to make coal bricks" but can't find any. So I guess that's how they make coal bricks in the old days.

btw, there're about 24 bricks are laying around so I guess they have to make 30 or 50.

Kogs has a point. The people of Hanoi use bricks that are also roughly the same size and pattern as the cap (source).

The lotus is Vietnam's national flower.

http://www.aseansec.org/18203.htm (right at the bottom)

Also, is there any indication that Kellie/Jamie survive past China? I only know Dustin/Kandice (Finland), David/Mary (Kuwait), Lynn/Karlyn (Paris), Erwin/Godwin (Finland), Rob/Kimberly (Paris), Tyler/James (Paris), Duke/Lauren (Mongolia) and Peter/Sarah (different clothes) are safe for the first episode...

The pic in question (the one that might be in Kuwait) looks to me like some sort of race route. The people are all lined up, cheering -- there is a yellow flag indicating it's part of a course of some kind. Maybe?

I haven't seen this posted here, but over at TWOP, someone linked an article stating that two teams are eliminated on the first leg. (Sorry if someone got to this first - I looked but couldn't see it)

Looks like a camel race to me. And I don't think that's India (at least not Rajasthan where the camel races are held, TAR7 covered it already). Kuwait is likely.

From the shadows on the Great Wall it does not look like there is much time between the arrival of the first five teams.  Even the last place team has the  similar shadow patterns.  So if the time is right and people are climbing the wall between 4:08PM and 4:39PM  that means the teams will be leaving in the early morning at the  same hours. (The earlier time estimate won't work since the excercise bit was between 10 and 11AM and then they have drive a food ways to the Great Wall location.

For future reference in spotting teams I spotted the following backpack numbers:

1.  Sandra and Peter
4.  Lyn and Karlyn
5.  Duke and Lauren
9.  Rob and Kimberly

Puddin:  did anyone spot any backpack numbers for the teams in Paris?

Do the boys have bags in Paris??  Because we know RK and LK do have bags so JT must not otherwise they had to have then eliminated that rule unless DK [or EG] are eliminated the second to last leg [Hayden and Aaron, Bowling Moms] meaing all three final three never ever come in last.

I think we covered the rules that the backpacks weren't allowed on the Eiffel tower ? I'd have to dig back in the main spoiler thread.

ETA: you can see one of Kar/Lyn gathering her backpack ..I think

Did Kim (of Chip & Kim) give away a possible TAR10 location (INDIA) on her "Return of the Racers" blog posting?

...What a surprise to see a second elimination in one night. I would have loved to see more of Vipul and Arti and get their prospective of the race when they visited their homeland."

It's a bit vague, but could mean that TAR is going to India.

HAHA Boingo ! It was umm.. alluded to me that they might have gone to India but I have no proof just something I heard , maybe just passing through ? Nothing of India , New Zealand , Finland nor Belarus or Paris in the intro caps either ..seeing as we have pretty solid spoilers for say Finland & Paris  I suppose they are all still open for speculation.. and now we have Egypt ? wowsers ! Who has a minute to count the 13 countries with solid spoilers ?
