Kogs,  How about this from your link?

Quote
Current Sunday 8 p.m. (ET) crime drama "Cold Case" is moving to 9 p.m. to make room for reality veteran "The Amazing Race" at 8 p.m. Sundays. At 10 p.m., Thursday night F.B.I. drama "Without a Trace" is transitioning to Sundays. Venerable newsmagazine "60 Minutes" remains at 7 p.m. Sundays.

well theres football on at 8pm on nbc, thats my 1 main worry.

60 Minutes is the king of newsmagazines, so this will be a push for The Amazing Race 10.

However, there is football, which I suspect will not cause too much havoc (remember, ESPN has had football on Sunday nights for years, and that didn't spell doom for Sunday nights.)
However, The Simpsons airs at 7pm CT, which attracts young viewers (NOTE TO DEMOGRAPHIC: the show airs in reruns dozens of times a week! catch it then...)
But then there is garbage at 7:30pm CT on Fox, a boon to TAR. This is bound to be good because football ALWAYS runs late, so if TAR10 starts at 7:30pm CT, you've got the audience! Will people move to Family Guy before the race ends each week? Who knows...
While a late start each week for TAR10 sounds bad, it doesn't sound like it has to be. And I'm sure CTV will air it right at 7pm CT, no matter what CBS does (this should be a spoiler warning: Canadians could find out before American each week if there's a football overrun)

Net result: doesn't rock, but doesn't suck too. I could catch The Simpsons on the west feed at 10pm CT, and just join in on the race on the east coast.

So where are they going for TAR10? Here are some "big name" places they've never hit...

Belgium/Poland/Finland/Spain
Aruba/Bahamas/Bermuda
Venezuela/Paraguay
Saudi Arabia/Qatar/Mongolia

Phil has said he'd like to do Mongolia, more in the Caribbean... ?

Football only carries over 7PM on those Sundays that CBS will be carrying a double header or the late 4:30PM game which is not every Sunday.  ESPN does not have the audience an over the air network does, so NBC may be pulling in greater numbers than ESPN did when they carried Sunday Night Football.

But all in all, TAR has a highly rated lead-in (60 Minutes) and two shows following which have had good audiences in the past, except now they will be up against Desperate Housewives and Grays Anatomy which pull big audiences.  I think that the audience shown improve for TAR; actually it wouldn't take much to improve from the 7 - 8 million it has been averaging this time.

Bratislava and Slovakia are great places to visit.  Prague and the Czech Republic offers many good opportunies.  Also Romania and Bulgaria offer unique visits.

Guam and Saipan in the Pacific along with the Marshall Islands and Micronesia.

Probably lots of other places we can't think of now!

Ireland   :hrt:  Gaelic could cause some problems.  Maybe the Waterford Crystal Factory or Guiness brewery (make them pour the perfect pint including the shamrock!)  :jam:

Or Belgium and the Mannequin Pis.   :jumpy:

Or St. Martin Orient Beach - Find the nude man and  :-[
