I can't believe CBS is calling RayYo "Fighting Daters"!  Good lord, they only were fighting that one episode, and it wasn't even that bad (compared to some of the fighting teams of races past, and even this one).  Too bad they couldn't think of a more creative and accurate adjective for them.

  • You flathead!
I'm pretty sure those are the aircraft. The aircraft are DeHavilland DHC-2 Beavers.  In this picture I circled what could be landing gear and a wing on the darker plane and the general outline of the lighter aircraft.  what do you guys think?

A good landing is one you can walk away from.  A great landing is one where they can use the plane again.

Just a couple comments from a first time poster.  I like reading these because it isn't a 100% spoiler, mostly speculation based on deduction.

In the ice cuting photos, the bank looks closer with Eric and Jeremy, I'd guess that means they got there first.  The cameraman has turned around to see the hippies, the other bank is farther away, with a set of cutters in the background.  Probably Rayo is last.  Could be wrong about that.

In the clip showing them on the rollercoasters, either Eric or Jeremey says How can you read anything up here, or something like that.  Probably means that is a roadblock where you have to read something (maybe ground level, maybe up in the air) in order to get the next clue.  I bet Tyler could excel there, since he could more easily get help from locals.

Go hippies!

Thanks to Banzai's clear vidcaps   , it appears that BJ&T are standing on a jetty in Lake Yamanaka near Fuji-san.

The small bump on the side and the distinctive ridge at the top seem to match the vidcap.

As the Teams race through Japan, they quickly learn that little mistakes can cost big time when there are only three teams left and the finish line is within reach.  The last two legs of the Race around the world prove both mentally and physically grueling and it is a tight contest until the very end.
