My guess on the local tradition: removing footwear on the way into a temple.

I've seen the blue and white tall sign (in the Monica caps, on the left) before in Thailand! IIRC, it's an official thing, either a police or political district sign with a crest on it. Racking my brains to try to recall whether it is confined to a city or is all over Thailand.

From Lonely Planet: Thailand, "Current transprot options are far from affordable and take the fun out of 'doing it yourself'. Most visitors hire a boat from any pier along the river (prices range from 600B to 800B depending on the duration) or join the Sunday tours through Chao Phraya River Express." I wonder how they would do this?

Looking at the video it definately looks like Mo is walking beside a river. This pic shows a similar red stand with a sign. I'm looking for the building she is walking besides (in other shots) -- a temple or museum? Here is a map posted on the island.

Banana plantations in the new video do suggest Ko Kret!

Focusing on Ko Kret, there are only four sites that satisfy the two simple criteria of being big enough and having orange/brown roofs. All four of them, incidentally, face the Chao Phraya on Ko Kret's north and east sides.

Using Puddin's caps, just trying to see the sequence of caps.

Joseph still has everything here. He's clearly the better porter.

Six left for Monica.

Looks like three to four. Could this be a separate try?

Six drops to five. The building in the background (looks like a row of toilets) is also in the next few caps.

Looking at the complex with the row of doors on the right, this follows just before...

Monica is left with two.

This looks more residential, so it must be further away from the temple area.

Can't even figure out the mess that's at the end of the line, but phonetically this should read 'Haboth..."

“Nice guys finish last” quote from Tyler is probably in an interview referring to this past leg where Tyler continually tried to be “nice” only to get on the mat last – that’d be my guess at least. The quote being used in the promo virtually guarantees they won’t finish this leg last.

Interesting. From the promo looks like they let BJ get dressed before they were mugged, although I can't tell if E/J have their backpacks while they're running around in the jungle looking spot. Maybe they did decide to assess a penalty for the cabs??

I think the picture of the Hippies, with full clothing, is recycled. So, no gettting dressed before turning in their belongings. Of course, they really do not have belongings except for the new top hat.

I'm ok with that then, because in my opinion it's because TPTB don't have any pictures of them doing tasks and don't want it to be obvious that they win the FF!!!!

They should make the FF winners do decoy tasks so they can put together better promos.

OK, this episode was a little confusing but I think this is a possible episode summary. The big key is tracking the clothing changes, so I've put all those in parentheses throughout. At first I thought Ko Kret made more sense on the 1st day, but I can't get the order to work with the clothes, so I think they must head back in the direction of Bangkok at the end and hit Ko Kret then. Anyway, here goes...

EPISODE 11 – 5/10/06
START: Lake Bennett, Australia (November 26, 2005)
Ray & Yolanda depart between 2:15 & 2:45am (Ray: black muscle shirt/jacket, Yolanda: red tank)
Eric & Jeremy depart between 3:00 & 3:30am (Eric: khaki shorts, Jeremy: khaki shorts)
Monica & Joseph depart between 3:00 & 3:30am (Joseph: black shirt, Monica: white tank)
BJ & Tyler depart between 3:00 & 3:30am (in only clothes they have)
TEAMS fly to Bangkok, Thailand
   Darwin airport approx. 90km from pit stop (hour drive?)
   Flights depart 5:30am through Singapore or Sydney
   MoJo or RaYo take different route through Adelaide?
   TEAMS arrive between 12:05 and 12:40pm
TEAMS FIND Wat Hua Lamphong temple, race through it to find clue?
   Webclue refers to this temple?
   TEAMS proceed to Lopburi, Thailand
   TEAMS take trains/buses?
TEAMS arrive in Lopburi at night, proceed to Pra Prang Som Yat temple
   Monkey festival is obviously going on
Festival shots include big crowds at horse show, decorated firetrucks, costumes, etc
TEAMS are bunched at temple overnight until 11/27, date of monkey festival

Very nice once again, mwooden! From the lighting/sky, it does appear that the Roadblock precedes the Detour. Speaking of the detour, right now, I think that Eric/Jeremy might've written their own death warrant (or rather Philimination warrent) if they ended up choosing the other Detour that's not the pots one. They could so easily do the pots one, but also, it depends on how far away the second option is. Despite how easy but long it'll take, it could be closer to the Pitstop, or not, and E/J could do something like get lost or go the wrong way. However, if they can keep their perfect streak of footraces alive, when it matters more than ever...just a little speculation here of the wonderful detective work y'all put together. Thanks!
