Zante Radio Taxi Services

They're on the island of Zakynthos, off the Peloponnese Peninsula, geographically closer to Sicily than you can ever get. Hellenic Mediterranean Lines (not the boat in the vidcaps though) offers a service from Bridici (on the heel of Italy's boot) to the island. Could this be the link to Greece?

I'm now searching to see if our ferry plies between Zakynthos and the Greek mainland.

Gut, and pictures, says it's this. Nafplion Harbour, Greece.

Like other Greek athletes, wrestlers competed naked and were typically slicked down with olive oil (which prevented abrasions but also had a ritualistic significance). They competed atop soft ground; practice sessions were generally held in a mud pit, and formal matches took place on the skamma, a special bed of fine sand. At grand events, the matches might be held in a stadium full of spectators.

Incidentally, the Etruscan woman wasn't confined to domestic chores; she lead a remarkably free life. The modern feminist would find her a good example, so would mud wrestlers. Etruscan women wrestled men, conduct that scandalized Greeks and Romans whose women occupied a secondary place in society.http://www.castellobanfi.com/features/story_salute.html

TV Guide clues !! TV Guide April 10-16

Eric wasn't puzzled by an earlier Italian challenge , but will he be able to crack a secret code in Rome involving Da Vinci's Vitruvian man ( inset )this week ?

What are the teams doing this week in Rome ?
" It has a tie-in to 'The Da Vinci Code ," explains Race co creator and executive producer Bertram van Munster. " We'll be using the most famous places in Rome." At the Trevi Fountain , the teams will receive part of an image of da Vinci's Virtruvian Man . Then they'll go in search of the second half of the clue ,which will help them crack a secret code.

Wow, talk about Van Munster whoring the show to blatent product placement.  TAR has already been rated in the top 3 shows for shameless product promotion.  We may be "jumping the shark" with this movie tie-in.  Oh well. I guess CBS needs the money.

 >:(

At least we know how they get from Sicily to Greece next week.  Looks like a ferry ride is OUT.

Good point, puddin.  The pitstop is in Siracusa, which is about as far away from Palermo as you can get in Sicily.  hmmmm....need to think about this one.....hmmmmm......my brain hurts....better not to think of such things.   :-\
